Homecoming

"I hate everything in my closet. I have nothing to wear for homecoming.", I said to Bonnie as I went through my closet looking for anything.

"So don't go. Let's stay home. Order take-out. And analyze ancient hieroglyphic thingies with Alaric", Bonnie offered me.

"We have to go. Caroline will kill us.", I answered, I had been avoiding Caroline after what had happened. "Caroline actually has a date." Bonnie answered.

"You do know you can talk to me about Jeremy, right?", I said knowing my brother had probably down something bad.

"I don't need to. He fell in love with his ghost girlfriend and lied about it. What's done is done", she answered quickly. "You have to talk about it. He hurt you, Bonnie. I'm mad at him too." I explained.

"You're mad at your little brother. You'll yell at him a little. Teach him a life lesson. But you can't really be mad like I'm mad.", she answers me. "Bonnie-".

"And you shouldn't have to be. He's your brother. So, no. I can't really talk to you about it." Bonnie tells me forcing an smile.

"So much for homecoming.", I said to Matt as I was supposed to be a "date", an act for Klaus or whatever.

"This is weird, us being here together.", Matt answers me , probably cause I'm his ex girlfriend's sister. "There's Caroline she doesn't know anything, act normal." , i hisses slowly at Matt.

"Hey, Klaus is here.", Caroline whispers to us. "What?", Matt asks her. "Yeah apparently our sites hybrid friend, Tyler. Thought it would be okay. To let his master throw a party.", Caroline says annoyed as me and Matt looks at each other.

"I expected more surprise." , Caroline says confused. "I've learned not to be surprised by anything Klaus does. I'm gonna go find Bonnie.", I said as I left them two alone.

"Where's your date?", Klaus approached me as I was alone, he was holding a beer, in a suit. "Getting me a drink.", I answered looking right into his eyes.

"Seems I have you to thank for Mikael's demise.", he said as he offered me a drink but I rejected it. "He came at me, I didn't have a choice.", I answered lying.

"Still I'm impressed. It's not easy for a human to dagger an original.", he tells me like he doesn't believe me. "It wasn't the first time.", I said speaking of experience.

"Right, Elijah.", he replied as he laughed.

"You seem nervous", he speaks to me as I look around for the others. "I'm not nervous I just don't like you.", i hissed at him.

"I'll get straight to the point, then. Shall I love? People have been after me for a thousand years. And I am always one step ahead.", he speaks to me.

"So whatever it is you're thinking of trying, go for it. Give it your best shot. You won't succeed.", he added.

"It won't be for lack of trying", i hisses at him about to leave. "Now you'd be smart to tell Damon to mind his manners tonight.", Klaus answers me.

"Because if I die. I've already ensured that he'll die alone with me. Even in death. My hybrids have their orders. So you kill me, you're killing him too.", he added and left me.

"Hello Niklaus.", I heard from the old man who were the Originals father or something. "Hello Mikael. Won't you come in? Oh, that's right. I forgot, you can't", Klaus said teasing Mikael.

"Or you can come outside if you want.", he offered. "Or I could watch my hybrids tear you limb from limb.", Klaus says as I see a group of people standing there.

"They can't kill me.", Mikael answered confidently. "True. But I'd make a hell of a party game. All I have to do is run these two fingers together, and they'll pounce.", Klaus also saying confidently.

"The big bad wolf. You haven't changed. Still hiding behind a our playthings like a coward. Oh, and you forget they may be aired to you. But they're still part vampire",

"And they can be compelled by me.", he said as I was dragged in front of them all.

"Come out and face me. Niklaus. Or she dies", Mikael says as he tightly holds me. "Go ahead. Kill her.", he answers as I look at them both.

"No. Klaus, he'll do it.", I begged. "If she dies. This lot will be the last of your abominations.",Mikael continues.

"I don't need them. I just need to be rid of you.", Klaus answers. "To what end, Niklaus?. So you can live forever with no one at your side?".

"Nobody cares about you anymore, boy!", he says to Klaus, I am so glad my parents weren't like this. "Who do you have other than those whose loyalty you've forced? No one."

"I'm calling your bluff, father. Kill her.", Klaus says as I looks at him terrified. "Come outside. And face me, you little coward, and I won't have to.", he threatened.

"My whole life, you've underestimated me. If you kill her, you lose your leverage. So go ahead go on. Kill her. Come on, old man, kill her. " Klaus continues as I shake my head.

"Kill her!", Klaus yells.

"Your impulse, Niklaus. It has, and will forever be. The one thing that keeps you from truly being great. ", he says as he stabs me in the back making me gasp.

Making me fall to the ground.

"Katherine ", he says when I raise myself up, wrong. We just had a plan. "Wrong", I answered smiling. Turned around and threw two bottle of vervain grenade.
