Emma quickly showered to remove the chemicals from the pool on her skin. Wanda bought her some honeysuckle scented body wash at the mall. Emma fell in love from the first second she sniffed it. She lathered it across her body as she inhaled the floral scent. She toweled off and got into her pajamas and wondered the room. There was a tv mounted to the wall, but she didn't know how to use it nor was she interested in watching anything. She paced a little more.
Finally, she stood at the foot of the bed again staring at the blue and white comfortable blankets and fluffiest pillows she's ever felt. "I can't."
She grabbed a pillow and a blanket and laid down on the floor. She curled up in her blanket as she got comfortable. Her head sunk into the pillow, and she laid there staring at the white ceiling.
There was a knock at the door and Emma's eyes fluttered in the sunlight. She slept about four hours and didn't have a nightmare. At least she didn't remember having one. She also didn't remember getting tired and falling to sleep.
"Emma. It's Wanda. I wanted to say goodbye before I left."
Emma jumped up off the floor and yelled, "One second." She picked up the blanket and pillow from the floor and threw them on the bed.
Emma walked over to the door, "Hey Wanda." She looked back at the clock as she said, "What time is it?"
"7:30 am. We're about to head out but I wanted to say goodbye and I'm sorry that I have to put your training on hold."
"It's okay. I'll maybe talk to Bucky about starting some physically training."
Wanda smirked and teased, "Physical huh?" They both laughed.
"I'm going to get my robe on and meet everyone at the jet to say goodbye."
Bucky was already there when she arrived. He was helping them load up the quinjet and make sure they had everything they needed.
He never went back to sleep when he returned to his room. He sat up in a chair staring at the moon. He convinced himself he was staying awake because it was a measly four hours till everyone will be getting ready to go. In truth, he wanted to stay up in case Emma had a nightmare again.
Emma was still in her pajamas that were covered by her robe and walked over to Tony in her fluffy white slippers. "Be safe."
"Thank you, Emma." He glanced over at Bucky, "It's not too late to switch who's staying." He smiled at her with a low laughed.
"I'm sure I'll be safe with Bucky."
He winked and grabbed a bag as he headed into the quinjet.
Nat and Wanda group hugged Emma before boarding the jet.
