Sorry for the wait...

Jeremy woke up with a weight on his chest. Literally. His eyes slowly opened, adjusting to the sunlight that peaked through his dorm room window. A mess of ginger hair was spread out over his chest and a sleeping Candace was sound asleep drooling on him.
He smiled. If it had been any other girl that would have grossed him out. But not with her. Jeremy's phone began to vibrate with a call and he slowly removed Candace from his chest so as not to wake her. Her face touched the pillow and she stirred briefly before her soft snores returned. He walked over to the bathroom and answered it. "Hello?" "Jeremy!" He smiled. "Hey Susie! How's my favorite girl?"
"I'm good! I miss you though!"
"Miss me? You just saw me during Christmas break"
"I know but I still miss you"
"Awe I miss you too sis. How's school? You're not talking to any boys right? You know they're all no good" he could practically hear her eyes roll. Susie was only 10 but she was a little firecracker and very mature for her age. She knew how to get what she wanted and loved her big brother to pieces.
"I only talk to one boy in my class and he's my friend. His name is Henry." Jeremy scowled
"Mhm well let's keep it that way"  "anyways I was calling you because I want to know when you're coming back again?"
"Ummm probably not until May hun" he said apologetically . "Oh okay" he heard her voice get sad. He heard Candace stir again and peaked to check on her that she was still asleep.
"But hey I might be bringing someone...I think you'll like her"
"Her?! I thought I was your favorite girl" she said angrily. Jeremy laughed. "Don't worry you still are, don't worry no one could ever replace my favorite girl."
She giggled. "Okay well I'll talk to you later Jeremy mom wants me to help her with breakfast. "Okay bye love you" Jeremy said before hanging up. "Who was that?" Jeremy jumped out of his skin when Candace spoke from her spot on the bed. "God Candace you scared the crap out of me" she just raised an eyebrow. "So who was it and why do you love them?" Jeremy looked confused. "What? Oh! No it's not like that I was just talking to my little sister Susie." Candace instantly blushed in embarrassment. "Oh...sorry" Jeremy chuckled. "So you're the jealous type eh?" Candace layed back down and buried her face in her pillow. "Shut up" he laughed walking over to her. He climbed back into the bed next to her and pulled her into his arms. "Hey" he said, pulling her face to look at him. "Don't worry you're the perfect girl for me" she smiled and he kissed her she eagerly responded. He pulled her closer by her waist and she sighed into the kiss. He pulled away. "Also you're adorable when you drool." Candace's eyes widened, mouth dropping and she grabbed a pillow and smacked him with it causing him to laugh. "Just saying"
,....
Tuesday morning Candace walked into journalism class a little out of breath since she was almost late. Jeremy was already there as usual and she slid into the seat next to him. "Here I got you a coffee" he said pushing a Starbucks cup toward her. "Aww thanks babe" she smiled, taking it gratefully. The teacher walked in seconds later. To their surprise it was Mr. Hayes. Does he just teach every journalism class? She thought to herself.
"Good Morning class. Welcome to a new semester. Those of you who
Have had me
Before know that I do not grade lightly nor l do I accept anything less than perfection. You give this class 100% and you'll do fine. NOW your first assignment is a group project. Please get into groups of 3-4." Candace looked at Jeremy who smiled at her. "Well looks like we need another person.."
They looked around and everyone was pairing up already. "Hey mind if I join you guys?" They turned to the source of the feminine voice. A cute short girl with glasses and a slick blonde ponytail smiled nervously at them. "Yeah ofcourse" Jeremy said, smiling. Candace nodded in agreement and the girl sighed In Relief and sat next to them. "Oh great! I was afraid I wouldn't find a good group but you two seem smart. I'm Katelyn by the way but you can call me kate." "Hi I'm Candace and this is Jeremy"
"Alright class now that you have your groups one person from each group needs to come up and grab a folder with your assignment. Everyone's assignment is different and you will have two weeks to get it done." Jeremy got up to grab the folder leaving Candace and Kate. "So is journalism your major?" Candace asked her. The girl shook her head. "No I'm an English major, this is just an elective for me" Candace nodded. "Oh okay cool" Jeremy came back to the desks with a brown folder in his hand. "So we were assigned a video broadcast. So I guess we have to do a mock news story." "Cool," Candace said, smiling. Jeremy opened the folder. So we have to assign roles. We need an anchor which would be me Ofcourse becauseI mean look at this face" he said flashing a cocky smile. Candace rolled her eyes and Kate laughed. We also need a co-anchor and a on site reporter." "Dibs on co-anchor!" Kate said before Candace could respond. Candace frowned. "Awe I wanted to be an co- anchor" she mumbled. "Okay then Kate will be my co-anchor, Candace do you mind being the on site reporter?" Candace shook her head plastering a fake smile "not at all"

Jeremy smiled back at her and then turned their attention back to the teacher who continued to go on about the assignment for the rest of the class. After class was over they began gathering their stuff as Kate looked over at Jeremy who was now standing up as well as candace. "Hey so when do you guys wanna get together to work on the project?" Kate asked. "Hmm well I have class until 5 today and then afterwards I have a journalism club." Jeremy says. "Yeah and I have a journalism club too at 7." Candace says. "Oh okay so maybe tomorrow we can meet up or maybe tonight we can get together also I was thinking maybe all three of us should exchange numbers you know so we can communicate on the project?" Kate suggested. "Umm...yeah sure" Jeremy says, taking out his cellphone and handing it to her. She smiled flirtatiously and typed her name and phone number along with a heart next to her name and at the same time she had handed him her cellphone he too typed his name and phone number on it. "Okay so I guess I'll see you guys later" She says walking off in the opposite direction of them.  "She was nice," he said, smiling and Candace looked at him. "Yeah....nice."
Jeremy threw an arm around her and they headed off to their next class.

6pm
Candace was finishing up some homework when Vanessa came in along with Stacy. They were laughing about something. "Oh Candace! I'm glad you're here! There's a party tonight" Candace frowned. "On a Tuesday?" Vanessa nodded. "It's more like a birthday party but it's a frat guys birthday so it's gonna be at the frat house again. "We'll have fun!" She said smiling before going back to her homework. "What?! You're coming with us!" Candace sighed. I can't have plans with Jeremy. Vanessa sighed. "We'll bring him with you." She sighed "okay Fine."
