Chapter 19: Revenge

Chapter 19
"Wow. That just keeps getting better" Jeremy said as Candace snuggled up to him. They were wrapped in his blankets naked and completely worn out.
"Yeah. I don't think I'll ever get tired of this" Candace said, smiling up at him from where her head rested on his shoulder.
"What do you wanna do today?" He asked, pulling her closer.
"Mm I was thinking maybe we can go visit time square? I haven't checked out any of the tourist places yet." Jeremy nodded "yeah alright you wanna head in like 15-20 minutes?" "Yeah it'll give me some time to change my outfit" She says as she got out of the bed she put her clothes back on and headed out of his room down to her dorm room.

"Well well well look what the cat dragged in" Candace rolled her eyes playfully at Vanessa who was talking on her laptop in bed. "We woke up and you were gone so we assumed you went over to loverboys."
Candace smiled sheepishly. "Yeah...couldn't help myself I guess." Vanessa laughed. "It's fine you're still in the honeymoon phase give it a month or 2 you'll be happy for some you time" Candace highly doubted that but nodded. "Well he's taking me to see some New York tourist areas so I'm gonna get ready"
"Ooo have fun! Make sure you check out Luna park I think you'd like it"
"I'll see if we can squeeze it in" She says before walking into the bathroom to change. She put on black jean shorts with a light blue denim bustier top and put her hair up in a high ponytail. After taking a good look in the mirror and satisfied with her look she walked out of the bathroom and grabbed her pink ray bands and her black small backpack. "Ooh look at you showing off those sexy legs" Vanessa says making Candace blush with embarrassment. "Shut up" she jokingly said just as they heard someone knocking on the door. "We'll I'll catch up with you guys later." Candace says as she's opening the door. "Hey babe you ready to go?" Jeremy says "you bet" she takes his hand and closes the door behind her.

They got to time square finally after taking the subway. She wanted the whole New York experience. They were gonna hit Central Park for a bit, then they were gonna go see the Statue of Liberty and lastly they would end at Luna park.

Candace smiled as they held hands and walked through the large park. "So your brothers built a whole monster truck arena?" Jeremy agreed in disbelief when Calve told him how she got her driver's permit and mastered parallel parking. She shrugged. "Yeah they're a bit over the top sometimes...well most of the time." Jeremy laughed. "They sound amazing" How did they get away with that?" He asked and Candace rolled her eyes. "Don't even get me started. '' Jeremy proceeded to ask her about her life and even told her some stuff about him. "Yeah my parents and my little sister are all I really have. I'm basically in school to have a better future and so I can provide for my parents when they get too old to work. And my sister Ofcourse I want her to be able to go to college and be supported as well."
Candace smiled at him. "Awe such a good big brother" She said, reaching up to pinch his cheek. He chuckled, swatting her hand away. "Hey! How about we get something to eat?" "Sure like what?"
Jeremy smirks. "Well you can't have the New York experience without having some old fashioned New York style pizza." Candace grinned and nodded. "Okay. Lead the way boyfriend "

They got back to their building around 9pm. Candace was laughing at Jeremy's impression of their English professor.
They approached her door and he kissed her lightly on the lips. "I'm going to go to my dorm to grab some stuff and shower then I'll come back for a movie" she nodded and smiled as he turned toward his dorm."

"Well Well Well what do we have here?" Candace and Jeremy looked across the hall to see Jason. "Jason? What are you doing here?" She asked, confused. He walked closer to them. "Well at first I came to apologize and hopefully win you back but now I see that you've been busy..." he shot a look at Jeremy who glared back at him. "Jason I-"
"Save it! You're not who I thought you were, Candace."
"You were the one who left me in that restaurant Jason you walked out not me" he scoffed. "You told me I had nothing to worry about...clearly you're not only a whore but a liar as well." Candace tensed and Jeremy clenched his fists. "Hey wait a minute man don't talk to her like-"
"I'm not talking to you college boy"
"Jason what do you want?" Candace asked with a blank face.
He smirked. "I want what I came here for...you"
Candace's eyes widened and Jeremy stepped forward pushing her behind him. "Over my dead body" he said and Jason continued walking forward. "That can be arranged." He pulled out a knife and Candace gasped.
"Jason, stop it!"
"Shut up!" He yelled and Candace flinched. She had no idea what got into him; he's never been a violent person, at least not in front of her.
"Move" Jeremy said, pushing her out the way as Jason lunged for Jeremy. She fell into another person and was relieved that there was someone to help them. Her smile fell when she saw it was Kate who was glaring at her. "Kate? What-" before she could finish Kate grabbed her by her hair knocking her against a wall. Candace let out a load 'oof' as she hit the wall. "That's what you get you lying conniving bitch!" She said as Candace composed herself. "Candace!" Jeremy shouted as he saw her hit the wall. "I'm okay!" She said and he nodded still trying to hold Jason's knife hand at a distance.

"Kate we tried to find you to say we're sorry" Candace said and Kate scoffed. "I don't want your filthy apology. You humiliated me for no reason! If you would have just told me from the start you guys were dating I probably would've accepted it...eventually. But NO"
"I'm sorry! It was wrong of me but please don't do this. You could get expelled ""i'm not gonna do anything..." Kate says making Candace relax for just a second before feeling a fist up against her cheekbone making her groan in pain. "What the hell!" She says angrily. "What I never specified on who I wasn't going to do anything to." Kate says to her with a smirk.
Meanwhile...
Jeremy and Jason rolled around on the floor. "Hope you've said your prayers college boy" the knife was getting harder for Jeremy to hold off. Kate had a fistful of Candace's hair but stopped. "Wait no you said you wouldn't hurt him." Jason scoffed. "I lied"
Kate let go of Candace and ran towards him trying to pull him off of Jeremy. "Don't! You said you just wanted her!" "Get off my bitch!" He said shoving her off of him and that gave Jeremy a chance to get out from under him. He ran straight to Candace examining her. "Are You okay? You gotta get out of here" She shook her head. "I'm not leaving without you!"
"Isn't that cute." Jason said, walking towards them with the knife still in hand. Kate seemed to be knocked unconscious against the wall. "Let's finish what we started shall we?" he lunged towards Jeremy and Candace didn't know what she was thinking, her body reached before her brain and she pushed Jeremy out of the way. She felt a sharp pain in her side and heard a scream and a "no!". Not sure who it was. The last thing she saw was the horror in Jason's eyes. Everything became a blur and then darkness.
