Chapter 18: Girls night

Two days went by and Candace and Jeremy finished their project and turned it in on time. They were hoping for an A but instead got a B thanks to Kate dropping out on them since it was supposed to be a 3 person project.
It was currently 2 in the afternoon and Candace was sitting on her bed doing her homework when Vanessa walked in through the door. "Hey Candace" "hey Vanessa how was your class?" "Eh, you know how good the class can be? How about you?" "Same" "nice so there's this movie that just came out in theaters called Megan you wanna come along with me and Stacy?" Vanessa asked from across the room. "Ooh isn't that the new horror movie?" "Yes!" "Then yes! I'm in, can I bring Jeremy along?" "Ugh no can this be a girls night please? I mean Jeremy is great but you guys have spent too much time together I barely see you alone anymore. We miss you Candace" Candace sighed. "Okay okay I'm sorry. Ofcourse I'll go and it'll be just us girls" Vanessa smiled brightly and hugged her. "Thanks! Trust me this will be good for us" "when are we going?"
"Tonight at 6 then we're coming back here and doing facials and talking about girl stuff so get all the Jeremy you can before then because there's no guys allowed" Candace chuckled. "Fine"

Candace and Jeremy had been studying in his room for about 2 hours before she sighed and closed her book. "I'm done. I'm not looking at another word today" Jeremy chuckled closing his book as well.
"By the way, why don't you have a roommate?" She asked, looking around curiously. There wasn't even a second bed in his room. Jeremy smiled. I think this room used to belong to the old RA. I signed up for a dorm late so I guess they had to just give me whatever room that was available last minute." "So you got lucky" She said and he smiled. "Guess so"
"Oh also you're gonna have a night to yourself tonight because I'm having a girls night with Vanessa and Stacy." Jeremy walked up behind her wrapping his arms around her. "Awe man I was hoping we could have a part 2 to the other night" he said kissing her neck." She felt a shiver go down her spine at the memory. "Due time babe. Due time" She said, turning to kiss him. "Alright, I'll find something to do. Be safe, text me before you go to sleep k?" "Ofcourse"

Candace, Stacy and Vanessa got to the theater around 6:30. "Did you really fill your purse with snacks?" Candace ashes laughing. Stacy grinned. "Duh! I'm not paying for those overpriced snacks here. I went to the 99 cents store and stocked up" Candace and Venessa laughed as they entered the correct cinema room. The movie was pretty good but it just made Candace wonder what it would be like if her dolls were alive. What if she could be best friends with ducky momo?! I mean she already was but he wasn't alive! But then again if he was and he became evil that would probably not be good...
After the movie they all went back to Candace and Vanessa's dorm and Candace pulled out the air mattress for Stacy. "Okay girls I made this really cool homemade facial mix that I saw online. It's supposed to make your skin super soft like a baby's butt" Vanessa said, taking a bowl out of green stuff from the mini fridge.
"Are you sure it won't turn our faces green? I saw that happen once to my cousin" Stacy said eying the concoction warily. Vanessa rolled her eyes. "Its fine! Trust me! And it's edible I used only natural ingredients"
"Well I think it sounds amazing, Nessa."
Stacy rummaged through her bag and froze for a second in thought. "Hey girls...do you...smoke?" Candace and Stacy stared at her. "Smoke? As in cigarettes? No" Candace said making a face. "No, I mean like..weed." "No, why do you have some?" Vanessa asked with a growing smirk. "Ofcourse not I don't wanna get caught with that..but I did bring these" she pulled out a zip lock bag with some brownies in it. "What do brownies have to do with weed?" Candace asked, confused. Stacy rolled her eyes "C'mon Candace I know you're innocent but you can't be that innocent" Candaces face turned red from embarrassment. "Um-y-yeah obviously brownies...are totally related to weed." Vanessa laughed. "Their obviously weed brownies right Stacy?" Stacy nodded. "I mean I think they'll make the night so much better but it's completely up to you guys I won't eat any of you guys don't." Candace stared wide eyed at them. Vanessa shrugged. "I don't mind. I've been high before my ex boyfriend used to smoke"
"What do you say Candace?" Stacy asked waving the bag around. Candace thought about it. What's the worst that can happen?" "Okay"

30 minutes later
"Guys...I can't feel my face"
The girls were currently laying on the floor staring at the ceiling that seemed to me moving slightly.
Candace couldn't stop laughing. She had no idea what was so funny but she just couldn't stop. They had put the face masks on about 10 minutes after they ate the brownies and Candace had no idea how they ended up on the floor but she didn't care. Stacy looked over at Vanessa. "You still have a face love" Candace laughed harder, clutching her stomach. "Guys guys let's talk! We're supposed-we're supposed to be having girl talk" she said In Between laughs. "You're right! Um okay Who's first?" "I'll go first" Stacy said.
"So I met Coltranes sister the other day and she hates me."
"What?! Why do you think she hates you?" Canace asked in surprise.
"It's obvious she made it very clear the expectations she had for his girlfriend and none of it was me"
"Well we all know you two are perfect for eachother it's your relationship not hers" "plus you have straight A's and you know Karate!"
"Yeah...thanks guys"I
"I still have to meet this guy by the way isn't he friends with Jeremy? Candace said and Stacy nodded. "Yeah he is in surprised you haven't met him yet let's double date soon" she said and Candace nodded.
