{Mel's Pov}

"I'm coming."

I hurry downstairs and up the door. I couldn't believe who was standing on my doorstep.

"What are you doing here?"

"We need to talk." Says Johnny

"Very funny about what?"

"Everything. Now can I come in?" Asks Johnny

"Fine bring your ass on."

I step aside so he can get in.

I close the door behind me.

"You don't look so happy to see me." Says Johnny helping himself to my sofa.

"Why would I be happy? After all of the nasty things you've done to me. Not once have called to check on your son. Thanks for being a sperm donor. That's about the only thing you've done right. If it wasn't for Dylan I don't know what I would do."

"That's why I'm here. I realized I can't keep acting like he doesn't exist. Back then I wasn't ready to be a father." Says Johnny

"So that gives you the right to get up and leave me?"

"No it doesn't and I'm sorry. What I did to you was dirty. I sworn up and down that I wasn't like Marques or Shamoy. But then I went and did the exact same thing. Even worst I put my hands on you." Says Johnny

"I'm glad to hear you say that."

"I just want to start over. I know I'm extremely late but hey at least I'm here. So people don't meet their father until they are an adult. I don't want to miss out on him growing up. I missed him say his first word, I missed him take his first walk. I didn't see him be brought into this world. That was very selfish of me." Says Johnny

For some reason I started crying.

"Why are you crying?" Asks Johnny

"I don't know. This is all just too much. Between you and Shamoy I'm going insane."

"What did he do?" Asks Johnny

"Basically the same things that you did. Beat on me, cheat on me. The only difference he got my hopes up and proposed to me. Then he turned around and said I'm out."

"Damn Mel you have the worst luck in the world." Says Johnny

"Gee thanks. That makes me fun so much better."

"I'm sorry I'm just saying." Says Johnny

That made me start crying even more.

"Hey I'm kidding. Just relax okay?" Says Johnny he reaches over and wipes my tears with his thumbs.

"Now you're being nice to me?"

"What am I supposed to be mean?" Says Johnny

"It's been a long ass time since you were this nice to me."

"I'm done being an asshole I swear. To be honest I've always treated girls like shit. I think of them as disposable toys. Your the only girl that I've ever been nice to. You can't say I wasn't good to in the beginning. Things got out of control when you became pregnant." Says Johnny

"Yeah you're right. I watched you be mean to all the other girls. I thought this time would be different."

"Me too." Says Johnny

"Out of all the guys I've been with you hurt me the most. You were my best friend before everything else. You took care me and school and made sure no one messed with me."
