23: Someone Burn the Church

Juliette's POV:

A couple hours later we finally get home and I'm ready to get comfortable in pajamas. I still don't know what Gerard could possibly talk about and it's making my stomach churn with anxiety.

As I'm putting my comfy clothes on Gerard finally speaks, "Sit." He pats the spot next to him on the bed. I sit next to him pulling the covers over my lap. "What is it? You've had me nervous all day it feels like you lil devil." I laugh.

He lets out a big sigh. "It's Noelle." I could feel a knot in my stomach. I knew this conversation would come one day. I didn't know when though.

"I don't know how to put this lightly, she needs to..." He makes a cutting motion with his hand against his throat. "How soon though?.." I trail off.

"Not too soon. I want it to be prolonged and miserable for her. I know it'll be hard but we'll work you up to the big moment," He stands up to speak instead. I knew when he did this to prepare not to speak for minutes. "But you also have to be able to disconnect from her and her emotions. She is merely a vessel for our enjoyment, a play toy. Like a dog and it's chew toy. A gradual, long and lengthy process to destroy and decimate." Once he finishes his face lights up like he just thought of something.

"Oh no. What're you thinking now? I know that look." He shakes his head. "Don't worry about it, I'll let you know soon once I have it planned perfectly. He places a kiss on my nose.

Gerard's POV:

The conversation with Jules which went very well, I expected more emotion and dramatics from her. I decided to hang out with the guys for a little bit and brainstorm. "Jules, I'm gonna go next door for a little bit, okay?"

"That's perfect actually, I wanna nap. Then I wouldn't have a little rat bothering me." She giggles pinching my cheek. "You're so dumb, love you." I head out.

Frank and I sit at the dining table and light our cigarettes. "What're you thinking?" Frank asks. "I finally brought up the whole Noelle situation. She took it really well, she was hesitant but I think I convinced her."

"What did you tell her? Did you tell her about our original plan?" Frank starts pulling out the papers we originally put our plan on. The location, date, time, everything. "No. I have a better idea."

"Spill." He looks intrigued.

"I was thinking we make is a slow, long, lengthy process. Suffering upon suffering then just drop the death bomb. First act, burn the church." I smile and cross my arms happy with myself. "Burn the church? Bold. I like it."

We start drawing out the plan, every little detail we can think of. How we can get away with it. When. Time. Date. I am ready.

Juliette's POV:

I had talked to everyone about the plan. They explained everything to me in very descriptive detail. I was down for it all but I needed to start learning to detach myself from her. Before the "meeting" was over I wanted to ask an important question. "How can I detach myself from her? Gerard mentioned it a couple times but I'm not sure how I can do it."

"Easy. Write a goodbye letter, like she's already gone. Then, you ignore her completely." Frank suggests shrugging. Well, better start writing. I excuse myself and go out back in the sunroom, I sit myself down and start writing.

Dear Noelle Stiner,

We've been friends for a few years now, love to see that your'e now gone. But because of me. I have always been waiting for this moment, now it's time for it to come real. You taught me a lot and because of you I got to meet Gerard. Now, I'm married to my soulmate. You taught me a lot about religion and you taught me how much I hate God. You were there for me a lot, hell, you were with me when I almost died in the hospital and the several other times I almost drank myself to death. Now, it's your turn to suffer. I will strip you of the person you are, I will ruin you Noelle. I promise you. Are you ready to meet your idol? To see if he's real? You told me you we're ready, so I'm giving you your wish. May God have mercy on your soul.
