After four weeks of trying to find something to do I was called to the head nurses office. The nurse didn't talk, but went straight to work on my wounds. I did whatever she told me to so I could return to my room as soon as possible. After about an hour she told me that my wounds were healing perfectly fine and I was cleared to return to the battlefield, I just had to be careful to not get into a fight like the one that I received the wounds in in the first place. The head nurse wasn't really shocked when she found that my wounds that should have taken at least four or five months to heal to the point that I could train were already healed enough for me to fight.

I didn't have to wear the bandages anymore and walked down the hallway with Ko'lae in my arms. I was wearing a black shirt with straps instead of sleeves and enjoyed being in my normal attire without the bandages on. I saw Lenalee walking down the hall with a black coat hanging on her arm. She looked like she wanted to talk to me aswell. "Hi Lenalee." I sighed.

"Hey Mimiteh." She smiled. She saw my shoulder and her smile dropped a little. We met in front of my room and she looked at me.

"Is that the wound from your last mission?" She asked me.

"Yeah, it's one of them. I've been cleared to get back on the battlefield." I smiled. She touched my shoulder and looked the scar that was left.

"It's not healed completely yet, but I will have my full strength in about a month or two." I replied. She smiled and handed me the coat.

"Bookman says you should wear this. It's made from the same fabric as the normal coats but made specifically for you. I thought you would like it solid black." She explained.

"Thank you." I said, accepting the coat. It was just like the one she had given me for my first mission but it had the black order cross on the left side of my chest.

"It was just finished so I decided to bring it to you." She smiled. I smiled back and slid the coat on.

"I have to go help Komui now. Bye." She replied. I waved and sighed, I could finally relax in my room and have the rest of the day to think about the words my mom said. I had listened to the recordings my mother had sent me again and again and can't get the words out of my head. I placed my hand on the doorknob to my room and heard someone walk up to me. I looked up and saw Kanda.  He had a serious look on his face and he looked at me.

"You. Me. Tonight at six o'clock. The restaurant in the center of town. Don't be late." Kanda said. I didn't have any time to respond before he walked into his room and shut the door. I stood in front of my room in shock for a moment. When I recovered from the shock I walked into my room, shutting the door behind me. I looked at myself in the mirror and noticed my eyes. In just the past few weeks my eyes had grown darker gradually and were now a light hazel like brown.

"That was weird." I told Ko'lae.

"What was weird?" She asked.

"I...I think Kanda just asked me out on a dinner date." I explained.

"Then you should go." She replied.

"Six is in one hour." I sighed.

"You should still go. Did he tell you to meet him at a specific place?" Ko'ae asked.

"Yes, the restaurant in the center of town." I replied.

"It must be the same one that Lenalee took us to when we got your new clothes." She said. I nodded and sighed.

"Fine." I sighed. Fifty minutes later I left and made my way to the restaurant. I arrived at the restaurant to see Kanda standing at the door.

"Glad you could make it." He said. I nodded and let him lead me to a table. A waitress poured water into cups for us and quickly walked away.

"This was quite sudden." I said. Kanda looked at me and took a sip of his water.

"How is this sudden?" He asked.

"You told me to meet you here an hour ago." I replied.

"On our last mission, you weren't thrown in jail with the rest of us." Kanda said, changing the subject.

"What about it?" I asked.

"I want to know why." He said.

"I lived on the streets." I sighed.

"I know." he said.

 Tsuki Kuro

I heard the door close and quickly ended the recording, Unmei flew out the window that I quickly and quietly closed.

"Welcome home Master Tyki." I said with a slight bow.

"I'm alone Tsuki." He replied. He was wearing his normal suit and I guessed he had just finished eating dinner with the others of the Noah clan.

"It's good to have you back love." I sighed.

"Yes." He replied. He pulled a card out of his pocket and looked at it.

"Another job from the Earl?" I asked. He looked at me and nodded.

"Yes. I'm in charge of finding an exorcist by the name of Mimiteh." He responded. The Earl wanted my daughter dead and he was sending Tyki, her father to do it. Tyki never knew that I had a child, or that it was his.

"Tsuki?" He asked me.

"Yes. I'm fine." I replied. He walked up to me and took my face in his hand.

"I know you better than that." He whispered.

"I am still an exorcist." I replied, meeting his eyes.

"I can't go against the Earl's order." He said.

"I know." I replied, placing my hand on his. He pulled me into a hug and crushed his lips to mine. I was shocked for a second before I relaxed and kissed him back. I pulled away and fingered the ring I wore around my neck.

"It's late." I said, hearing the clock chime.

"Why does time matter?" Tyki asked.

"You still have your job to do." I reminded him.

"I'll worry about it later." He replied. I sighed and kissed his cheek.

"I still have work to do in the morning, goodnight love." I smiled walking to my room. I laid down and stared out the window. Rose was safe for now, but aside from myself, she was the only one who knew. Not even Tyki knew I had a child and that she was half exorcist and half noah. That day I had to seal the noah side of her away. The seal must have been starting to weaken by now, it has been seventeen or eighteen years now.
