Chapter 34

I woke with a start and looked around. I was still in the train car, and so was Kanda and my mom. I looked out the window and looked for the moon. There were too many clouds in the sky and flecks started to appear on the window. It was starting to rain, it was about midnight, and Kanda, Ko'lae, and my mother were still sleeping. After that dream I wasn't going to get any more sleep so I leaned my head on Kanda's shoulder and listened to the rain.

It was a long wait until everyone woke up and when they did, I was lost to deep thought.

"Are you alright?" My mom asked me.

"I'm fine." I replied after a few seconds.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Just thinking." I said. I could tell that she wanted to ask me what I was thinking about, but all I did was watch Unmei as she flew around.

A few days later we finally arrived in Warsaw, and I was happy to be there and off the train. We went to the jail, and were greeted by the relieved yells of Johnny, Reever, and a few others of the science division.

"You came to save us." Johnny said, tears streaming down his face. A detective walked into the room and looked at us.

"Hello." He said.

"Hello, we're here to bail our friends out jail." I said.

"They are the prime suspects in a serial killer case." The detective said.

"Alright, we'll be back later." I replied, winking at Johnny and walking away.

"Wait!" Johnny yelled after us.

"What are we going to do now?" My mother asked.

"Well I looked at the case file. The killer is going after women that have turned away love." I replied.

"What are you saying?" Kanda asked me.

"We need to find any women that have forsworn love and watch them, we could find the killer that way." I replied.

"Are you sure about this?" My mother asked me.

"Yes, I am." I replied.

It had been days since we arrived in Warsaw, and there was no sign of any killer.

"I'm going to call headquarters and report." I explained, finding a phone.

"Hello?" Komui asked.

"It's Tsuki." I replied.

"Tsuki, how is the mission going?" He asked me.

"It's slow, I called to ask for something else though." I replied.

"What do you need?" He asked me.

"Can I speak to Tyki?" I asked.

"Yes, give me a moment." He replied. I waited for Tyki to come onto the phone.

"Tsuki, love?" He asked me.

"Tyki." I began.

"Do you need me to help you there?" He asked me.

"Yes. The stigmata are becoming easier to see now, and she keeps having strange dreams that include the noah." I explained.

"I will be there in the morning." He said.

"I will be waiting." I replied. He hung up and I returned to Rose and Kanda.

"Mom. I found him." Rose said, as I walked in.
