It had been two months since Kanda and I went on our first date and we had grown very close to eachother. We had also gone on more dates and they weren't very awkward anymore. I wasn't surprised when my eyes were a dark brown, they had been deepening in color for about four months now as well. I sat in my window looking at my reflection in my mirror.

"Mimiteh." Kanda said knocking on my door. I sat the mirror down and walked to the door.

"Yes?" I asked, opening it with a smile.

"How are your wounds." He asked me.

"I told you last time you asked, they're healed." I smiled.

"Just checking." He smiled. I noticed he smiled around me when we were alone, but never smiled around anyone else. I kissed his cheek and watched his face flush a slight, barely noticeable, color of red. It was still quite early and I expected no one would really be in the halls. Before I could react, Kanda had pulled me into a hug and pressed his lips on mine. I was shocked at first but closed my eyes and kissed him back in the end.

He pulled away and looked me in the eyes. I had noticed that his eyes had a new light in them and smiled. Footsteps echoed from the hall next to our rooms and he quickly let me go. I leaned on my door frame and winked.

"I'm not going to train under one of the generals." I said, my tone flat.

"One of them will come and force you to be their apprentice. General Tiedoll thinks it would be better if you did so willingly instead." Kanda replied, folding his arms.

"I don't care. I'm not going to treat someone like they own me. If I did, I would be a pet." I replied, adding a little bit of emotion to my voice.

"They would only be training you." He replied.

"I'm not going to end up like you." I said, my eyes narrow.

"What is that supposed to mean?" He asked me.

"It means you're annoying." I hissed. Someone cleared their throat and we both looked at the person. It was Reever, his hair was a mess and his coat was fresh.

"You two are needed in the command room." He said. I walked back into my room and grabbed my coat. Ko'lae and Unmei followed me as I walked with Kanda to the command room. Kanda nocked as we entered, like normal, Komui was asleep and Reaver sighed.

"I heard Lenalee's getting married." He said. Komui woke up instantly and cried.

"No! my precious Lenalee. Don't leave me!" He yelled.

"Sorry about that. When he falls asleep that's the only way to wake him up." Reaver explained. I nodded and looked at Komui.

"Oh, you're here." Komui said.

"A mission?" I asked.

"Yes. We sent Daisya and another exorcist to Barcelona two weeks ago. Last night was the last time we heard from them and this is what we received." Komui explained. A golem played a recording of the finder screaming then gasping as he died and a strange song sung by a girl that sounded no older than I was. Daisya screamed in agony and the recording was ended.

"We need you two to get to Barcelona and find him and the innocence as soon as you can." Komui explained. I nodded and followed Kanda out of the room and headquarters. We got to the train and boarded illegally, again. We got a car and Toma sat outside the car, like always.

"You trained with Daisya?" I asked.

"Yes." Kanda replied. He was sitting next to me and took my hand. We looked over the details of Daisya's mission and Kanda shook his head.
