After the conversation we had with the Noah, Tyki Mikk, Mimiteh was distant. She stared at her bracelet for hours at a time and the only thing I could do was hold her. When we finally returned to the order she left the innocence with me and locked herself in her room. The first day I checked on Daisya only to find him sleeping, so I wandered the hallways for a while. The next week was the same, Mimiteh locked in her room leaving me to worry.

"Kanda, has Mimiteh come out of her room yet?" Lenalee asked me.

"No. She's still there." I replied. I had hidden a glass cup behind my back when she asked me and moved closer to my room.

"Is that all?" I asked.

"Um yeah. I guess." Lenalee replied. I didn't say anything else and walked into my room. I sat on the floor and put the glass to the wall. I gently placed my ear to the glass and listened. The room was quiet but I couldn't hear any wind so I knew the window was closed. Ko'lae meowed and I could hear Unmei flapping her wings. Mimiteh was okay, but I was still really worried about her. I listened to her room for a few more hours and finally put the glass on the table next to my window. I sighed and walked out of my room and to Mimiteh's door.

I knocked on the door and waited for her to answer. No one knew that Mimiteh and I were together and I looked around to make sure no one was around before knocking again.

"Mimiteh, are you alright?" I asked. She didn't answer and I waited for a few more minutes.

"Mimiteh, please answer the door. I need to know you're okay." I said, leaning my head on the door. I waited and tried to stay patient checking to making sure no one was watching. I sighed and walked back to my room. After closing my door, I sat on my bed and remembered everything from the moment we met.

When I first met her I knew there was something about her that made her different from the others and I hated her for it. I wanted to kill her, it was like she was my enemy and by the way she looked at me I think she felt the same way about me. On our first mission together, I started to develop feelings towards her. When the woman that had let us stay in a room said that she couldn't find a sheet to hang down the center of the room I was secretly happy about it. I didn't know why but I loved watching her fight and when I saw her fighting the akuma something clicked.

When I saw her in a dress with her hair down she looked like a queen to me. I couldn't explain it, but when I danced with her it felt right. She was beautiful, elegant, and I was falling for her. That night she was the only thing on my mind. When I saw General Cross dancing with her, I had to remind myself that he was a general and I couldn't challenge him, I felt protective over Mimiteh. I even found myself smiling when she slapped him.

When I found out that she was missing, there was something inside me that was pushing me to find her so I joined the search for her. When we found her with that noble family, that General Cross had known, in Florence she was completely different. She seemed like she belonged there like she had lived like that before. The way she acted was different from the girl I had met at the order and I found it hard to believe that she was actually an exorcist until the morning we saw her in the dress she wore to the masquerade ball and the red streak in her hair.

On the second mission I was on with her I didn't know how she didn't get arrested as well and was shocked when she flew through the wall of the cell I was locked in with the others. Seeing her with the wounds that she had angered me and I didn't know what to think when she stood up and fought with them. When she fell after the battle was over and we had the innocence, I was the closest one too her and felt scared. I carried her to the inn and was very nervous until Bookman explained that she was going to be okay. When he told us that her shirt was destroyed and she was going to need a different one until we got back to the order, I realized that she was the only girl on the mission and gave my shirt to her to wear.

I had grown attached to her and after thinking about it I realized I had fallen in love with her, I wanted to know if she felt the same way about me. When we were on the date I learned more about her and wanted to be there to support and comfort her if she ever had trouble. When she thanked me and kissed my cheek I knew she had fallen in love with me. When I had thought about everything we had been through, I used the glass to listen for anything strange through the wall again.

It had been about three hours when my door swung open and I was so shocked that I dropped the glass, it broke, and I looked at the doorway to find Lavi there.

"Hey Yuu." He smiled. I stood up and drew Mugen.

"If you call me that again, I will cut you." I said with a glare.

He smiled and asked "Uhh, what were you doing?"

"I was meditating." I replied, putting Mugen back.

"Uh hu. Has Mimiteh come out of her room yet?" He asked.

"Why does everyone keep asking me?" I asked.

"You're the one that has spent so much time with her and your room is right next to hers." He explained.

"Go away." I replied.

"Do you know if she has left her room at all?" He asked me again.

"No! I don't know!" I replied, very annoyed.

"You could have just said that in the first place." He replied.

"Get out of my room." I said. Lavi smiled and left, leaving my door open. I closed it and glared, everyone kept asking me about Mimiteh, and it was starting to get annoying.

The door closed and I rushed out to meet Tyki.

"A daughter. You had a daughter and never told me?" He asked. I could tell he was slightly angry and I nodded.

"I did it for her. If any of the other Noah knew she would have been in danger, and if the exorcists knew that she was yours I don't know what the order would have done to her." I explained, desperate to make him understand.

"She's mine? I never knew you were pregnant." He replied, shocked.

"I found out while I was at the order and did my best to hide it. When people started to notice I returned home to my mother." I explained.

"You could have sent a letter or called me." He replied.

"I know, but I didn't know where you were or if the others would find out if I did." I replied, taking his hand.

"That's why you were so poised to save her." He replied. I nodded and took a deep breath.

"That's not all." I sighed. He looked at me, waiting for me to go on.

"At a young age she started showing signs of being a Noah." I explained, looking at the floor. Tyki was silent and I looked back up at him. He had a shocked look on his face and I sighed.

"She...she looks like you." He replied after overcoming his shock.

I smiled and nodded, "I know." I said.

"How are we going to raise her now?" He asked.

"Well, I know for a fact that she spends most of her time in her human form and is an accommodator to innocence. Because you like humans so much, maybe it's time for you to see how we live at the order." I smiled.

"I couldn't do that." He replied.

"The Noah have helped the exorcists before, you can do that. Can't you?" I replied.

"I'll think about it." He sighed. I nodded, turned to return to my room, and sighed. I felt his hand on my arm and turned back to him about to ask what he needed but was stopped. Before I could form any words his lips crushed against mine. I was shocked by the sudden show of affection but relaxed and kissed him back a few seconds later. His arms wrapped around me carefully, holding me closer to him.

The man that held me now was the exact man I fell in love with and had a child with. When I pulled away I looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back at me and I stared into his dark brown eyes. His eyes alone were enough to woo any woman and I was glad that I was the one to fall for him.
