Ko'lae meowed in shock and I heard Mimiteh's knife hit the ground.
"Mimiteh?" I asked, turning around. I saw her knife on the ground and a cloth. I picked up the cloth and realized it was wet. I sniffed it and found that it was drenched in alcohol. There was a little bit of blood on the cloth and I had a feeling that it was Mimiteh's.
"Is something wrong Kanda?" Daisya asked.
"Mimiteh has been kidnaped." I replied, standing up and showing them the cloth. Ko'lae hissed at the cloth and picked up Mimiteh's knife. Unmei flew close to the cloth and flew to my shoulder. General Tiedoll took the cloth and sighed.
"It's covered in alcohol." He said.
"Mimiteh is highly allergic to alcohol." I said. Ko'lae meowed and pulled on my coat. I looked down at her and watched her pad over to a public bathroom.
"I think she's trying to tell us to clean the alcohol off our hands." Daisya told me. I looked at Ko'lae and wasn't surprised when she nodded and meowed. I nodded and walked into the bathroom. I scrubbed my hands and arms until they were red. When I walked out Ko'lae was sitting on a bench and Unmei was flying around her.
"Unmei can you find Mimiteh?" I asked. General Tiedoll and Daisya joined me as Unmei flew around quickly and landed on Ko'lae's head. Ko'lae meowed and ran over to the train. She stopped where she had found Mimiteh's knife and started to sniff the air. I watched closely and waited for her to do something. She looked at me and meowed before running into the town. I never thought that a small house cat like Ko'lae could run as faster as her. She stopped and sniffed the air again. She meowed and looked at me.
"Kanda, it's getting really late." General Tiedoll said.
"I have to find her." I replied.
"What if she's being held by akuma? You can't fight akuma if you're too tired to stay standing." General Tiedoll explained.
"She could be dead by morning." I replied, determined to find her as soon as possible.
"Kanda it would be best to walk into battle awake and strong." Daisya explained.
"I have to find her as soon as possible." I replied. Ko'lae meowed, brushed my leg, and looked up at me. I picked her up and heard her yawn. Unmei landed on my shoulder and Ko'lae rested her head on my arm.
"We all need sleep." General Tiedoll yawned. I sighed in defeat and followed them to an inn. We got a room and I was surprised to find that there was three beds in the room. General Tiedoll sat on the bed closest to the door, Diasya took the one in the middle of the room, and I sat on the one closest to the window. It was a full moon and Ko'lae looked at the moon for a second then looked at me. I started to get tired and laid down, closing my eyes. Ko'lae curled up on my stomach, purring. I fell asleep to the sound of her breathing, and dreamed about the ball and Mimiteh and I dancing.
She was dressed in a black dress, it had long sleeves and a skirt that reached the ground, her black shoes were heals and silent, adding grace to her moves. Her hair was short, curled and framing her face, her lips were painted the most beautiful red, her eyelids painted a stunning charcoal gray, and her eyes were the most beautiful golden brown. She was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life. The music was slow and graceful, we were the only people on the dance floor and every move Mimiteh made made her look even more like an angel to me.
I leaned in close to her and pressed my lips against hers. Her lips were soft and smooth against mine. Her arms wrapped around the back of my neck and she kissed me back. I held her close to me and kissed her harder. She kissed me back and I felt her hair on my cheek.

I opened my eyes and felt something cold against my back. I looked around and found myself wearing a baby blue dress that didn't have sleeves. The collar of the dress was low and the back of the dress began at the small of my back. My feet hurt and when I tried to stand up I found my wrists were tied to the arms of the chair. I looked around the room I was in and realized it was a church. My heart raced and I fought my binds.
"She's awake. The Queen is awake!" Someone yelled excitedly. I looked around for the voice and saw so many people around me, there must have been hundreds. One walked up to me with a pillow. I looked at the pillow and found a tiara on it. It was made of gold and white diamonds. My heart raced faster and I stared at the man that had stopped in front of me. He knelt down and raised the pillow. Another person dressed in robes picked up the tiara and placed it on my head with care.
"All hail the queen!" He yelled. Everyone in the room repeated the words and I stared at each person. After a few moments they all left me alone in the large empty church foyer. I fought against my binds and had to stop after a few minutes. The dress I was wearing was starting to slide off my chest and I realized I wasn't wearing a bra. I was so uncomfortable in knowing that I was wearing a dress that didn't fit me and I didn't have a bra on. A young man walked into the room through a small door in the wall and walked up to me with a tray of food. He appeared to be about eighteen and smiled slightly when he saw me in the state I was in.
He walked up to me, set the tray on the floor and sighed.
"M'lady you shouldn't fight like that. Your dress will fall if you do." He said pulling the collar of the dress up.
"I wouldn't have to fight if my wrists weren't tied to the chair." I said. He ignored me and made sure the dress had not fallen low anywhere else on my body. When he was done with that he picked the try back up and grabbed the cup.
"Why am I wearing this dress in the first place?" I asked.
"This is the only dress that fits you the best and we don't have enough money to buy a new one or fabric to make a new one." He replied. He lifted the cup to my lips and tipped it. A little bit of the liquid slid down my throat and I moved my head. He moved the cup just before anything could spill on my dress and looked at me. I coughed slightly and looked at him.
"Is that alcohol?" I asked.
"It is wine." He replied.
"I'm allergic to alcohol. Wine included." I coughed.
"I am sorry m'lady." He said in a panic. He quickly left with the tray and I was left alone again. I knew that if I struggled my dress would fall down, but I needed to get free. It was horrible here, I was wearing a dress that I hated, was tied to a chair, couldn't feed myself, and was helpless. I had never been so helpless in my life. Not when the witch cursed me, not as a small, sick, child, not even when I was healing from my wounds. I took a deep breath and began to carefully pull my hand from the rope. It wouldn't move, it was like the rope was enchanted. That's when I saw it, a small pentacle on the rope. I looked at the one on my other wrist and saw the same mark.
The ropes holding my wrists could only be broken by innocence. Now I was really helpless, Ko'lae was most likely still with Kanda and I was alone, separated from the other exorcists.
"Great. I'm being held captive by people who are working with the earl and akuma, with no innocence and i'm wearing a dress that is waaaaaaay violating." I thought to myself. My head started hurting again, only this time it was so bad the only thing that was keeping me from tears was my willpower to show no emotion. I hadn't fallen asleep and yet my head hurt, there was something going on with me. I wanted to know what it was, but the only way to do that was to ask my parents who weren't here. This day was getting better and better. I felt a cool light touch my bare skin and looked up.
There was a window in the front of the church that was broken, and I could see the full moon shining on me. Somewhere out there was Kanda, and I hoped he was looking for me. I didn't know how, but I knew that Kanda and Ko'lae were looking for me. All I had to do was wait, no matter how painful or how uncomfortable that wait was, I was going to wait for my rescue and not let my faith in Kanda and Ko'lae fail. I would be saved, I had faith of that, and all I had to do was wait and hope.
