"WHAT about this one" Spencer asked walking though the store and pointing at a mint green crib.
"OH yes and then we can call the baby kermit and reach it to hop around"June smiled sarcasm lacing her words as she looked at it from across the bookshelves nearby.
"OH yes well this was my plan after all for us to create our own muppet army within the FBI" Spencer played along. Walking closer to June with a smile.
"OH of course this scientists were really on to something" she nodded looking through the books.
When they had both woken up on a rare Saturday morning with nothing to do and passed June's bare spare room in was unanimously agreed that the should really start readying the nursery for the soon to be arriving. Spencer had been like a giddy puppy leaving the loft to look at baby stores.
To say he was having a great morning would be an understatement. Here he was on a Saturday with his girlfriend picking out cribs for his baby that would be arriving in a few months time. A situation which he had accepted would never happen long ago until after meeting June.
"I do like the white one though. We can decorate it with the yellow with the sun's on it " June smiled looking at the crib in the corner painted a soft white colour.
" we can do a winnie the pooh theme" Spencer smiled back. "Nice and bright with whites and yellows"he said hugging her from behind and placing his hands over the small bump.
"And ask the little teddy's and blankets all around" she said back turning her head to kiss him softly. "God I never thought I would actually be doing this" she sighed happily.
"Me either " he mumbled back happily.
"Mmhh we definitely need to get this tho" June giggled picking up a book on fairytales and nursery rhymes.
"OH absolutely it's going in the basket" Spencer agreed also picking up a set of fluffy white and yellow blankets to add to the pile. "But what we really need to decide on is the crib. Do we like the white one" he asked moving to look at it more closely, walking through the store.
"I'd definitely say it's safe Spencer the kid won't even had kneecaps for the first six months we even get a trial run".
"The baby can still roll out of it though "
"I doubt the baby would be strong enough to roll through wood" June laughed looking at the label. "And it doesn't look like it could give them splinters either" she said eying out Spencer was examining every inch of the crib.
"So do we get it "he asked smiling up at her like a kid in a candy store. " the we need the paint, maybe some toys, diaper supplies or a moses backet for the living room. Oh and shelves too" he rambled on listing things off with his fingers.
"Spenc calm down a little we are just getting started. Ye don't need to get the next 18 years worth of furniture to leave in the closet till we need it." June said calming him down with a hand on his shoulder. "We just need a crib and some other stuff for now. We can get it ,we have time".
"But are we really buying this crib" he asked like he couldn't believe the words were coming out of his mouth.
"Yes we can get this crib, and the blankets, the moses basket, the blankets and toys along with all the other stuff we picked out today"june reassured him watching as he grabbed one of the unmade cribs of the shelve in front of him. "But for now maybe we could just pay and then go back home we still have to unpack your apartment into mine" she smiled gently tugging him to the tills.
"But June we don't even have the time. We have two amd a half months" Spencer said beginning to panic, eyes wandering the store like he had to buy everything before he would never be let back in again. "OH god how are we going to do this. We still have to unpack me. How are we going to unpack the baby's things too?".
