"so I'm June" JJ said coming to stand at the doorway pretending to be on the phone. "I hang up and look around".
"Something feels out of place" Rossi continues walling around the room."Reid said she ended the call abruptly. So she knew something felt off about being here".
"According to Spencer nothings out of place"JJ stated looking around. "So she goes to bed" JJ said walking down the hall. All doors and windows are locked so the unsub was already inside waiting. Waited for her to fall asleep and tried to cloraphorm her to take her with him".
"No that doesn't match up" Rossi said shaking his head. "If that's the case then where did the knife come from and why didn't he take it with him". He looked down the hallway to the drying blood on the floor. Tilting his head he walked closer kneeling to take a closer look.
"What is it" JJ asked following him.
"He woke her up , there was a struggle the lamp broke and she got away. So he had to improvise. June had the knife she cut him and ran here then fell".
"They struggle some more so she must have cut him again then she lost the knife so he knocked her out".
"What you think she went to bed with the knife" JJ asked.
"If so then it means she knew she was being watched. More importantly" he shuffled pulling out his phone to make a call. "We have the unsubs DNA".

Hotch put his phone on speaker on the middle of the table for the team to hear. "Okay Dave your on speaker.
"June cut the unsub it's his blood on the knife" he said over the phone "we have his DNA"
"What makes you say that" hotch asked the aloud.
"The blood splatter doesn't make sense unless june already had the knife with her in the room".
"She had to have known someone was watching her "JJ butted in.
"We'll talk more when you get here" hotch said ending the call.
"Somethin else isn't adding up" Morgan said looking at the map on the board. "Our unsub left exactly after the last victim and went here. Yet every other time he's stayed in the same state to do it again. Why break the pattern and leave and aim specifically for June and take Spencer's keys. I mean he had to know what he was looking for to come all this way" he theorized
"So you think June was the intended target all along" Prentiss said going along with his theory.
"If that's true then how would he find her" hotch asked. Lifting his head and looking around "where's Reid?".
"He went to go help Garcia" Will answered sitting by the window.
"Morgan you conduct the combative interview on Will. The more we know the better our chances are. I'll call the lab and have them rush the tests from the scene.

"Alright Will I need you to take a deep breath and just try relax". Morgan started the interview sitting across the table.
"What do you remember from the night June left. What did you, see, hear or maybe even smell. What was the weather like".
"It was raining pretty bad outside, there was a storm" he remembered focusing.
"Great. What else was going on around you"
