Ch.10

I sighed as I laid on the couch. It was 12 o'clock at night and I couldn't sleep. I tried and I just felt like I was falling and it scared me.

The hero was in the kitchen making something small to eat. I watched him do so in his white t-shirt.

There was a knock on the door and I got up slowly.

I opened the door to see a woman with shoulder length brown hair with two longer peace's in front.

"Oh I'm sorry I thought Deku was here." She said and I sighed.

"Um yeah. Deku you got a visiter." I said tiredly and went back to the couch.

I sat down as he put two sandwiches on the coffee table one for me and the other for him. I picked one up and started eating it quietly.

"So why are you in a hotel with some lady?" The girl asked as the door closed.

"Ochaco come on. It's not like that I saved her from falling from that building. I'm on her case." Deku explained and I heard the girl sigh.

"Oh so she got everyone killed." She said and I put my sandwich down.

"Ochaco that's not appropriate to say. All I asked is for you to bring me some things. She fell from the 9th story so she would have died also." He defended and i looked at my hands.

"So it was still her fault." The lady said and I looked up seeing the teen in front of me.

"If only they knew what happened before you moved here." She said and I got up immediately. My hair covering my face as I stormed to the bedroom.

I huffed laying down in bed and looking out the window at the city. There was talking in the other room before it got quiet and the door opened.

"C/n I know you're awake." He said and I heard him walk over. I saw his silhouette and he crouched down in front of me.

"She apologized for what she said." He said and I shrugged.

"Doesn't matter she's right." I mumbled and he sighed.

"No she's not." He said and sat on the floor completely. It was quiet as I thought about everything.

"You don't know anything about me." I said and he chuckled.

"Yeah I do L/n." He said and my eyes widened a little bit.

"Look I'm going to be honest I did background checks on your family. I didn't find anything out the ordinary and whatever you're hiding i don't need to know. Whatever it is is in the past now no need to dwell on it." He said and I just looked at him. He then stood.

"Anyway I'll let you get some rest." He said as he started to walk away. I moved and grabbed his hand. The moon light shining bright on the both of us. He looked down at me a little confused.

"Can you um stay please." I asked softly and he smiled sweetly at me.

"Of course I can." He said and I let his hand go. He walked to the other side and got in bed. I felt him get comfortable and I waited a while until I heard him softly snoring.

Why do guys fall asleep so fast?

I rolled over away from the window and looked at him. He was on his back a hand underneath his head his bangs laying back against the rest of his fluffy hair.

I nervously moved closer. I snuggled into his side softly hoping he wouldn't wake up. But I overestimated how deep a hero on guard slept.

He moved sliding his arm underneath my head. I went to move but his other arm laid across my side and I now could only see his chest.

"Don't worry I'm here. Nothing will get to you. I won't allow it." He said tiredly before he was softly snoring again.

I sighed with a small smile before falling asleep in his arms.

Actually feeling safe for the first time in a long time.

Deku POV
That morning

I woke up to my phone ringing. I reached a hand out and grabbed my phone and answered it.

"Hello." I grumbled hugging whatever was on me with my free arm.

"Hey Midoriya where are you? We need to talk about all this. We found somethings in the ruble that is concerning." Todoroki said and I sighed.

"I'm at a hotel I'll send the address." I said and hung up.

I sat up slowly making sure not to wake up C/n.

A while later
(Lazy)

"You what!" I growled looking at the weapons on the coffee table.

"Yeah they have her finger prints all over them." Momo said and I rubbed my face.

"There's no record in her background check saying anything about any of this." I said and Kacchan stood.

"There's a mask Deku clearly it was a secret." He said and I shook my head.

"There has to be some explanation." I said and Iida crossed his arms.

"Her actual parents said they are under witness protection did they say exactly why?" He asked and I shook my head.

"No they didn't." I said and we were interrupted by a door opening. We all looked over to see C/n rubbing her eyes. I crossed my arms and we all looked at her.

Y/n POV

I rubbed my eyes as I walked out hungry. I looked around at all the hero's and I was a little confused.

Deku looked angry at me and I looked at the coffee table seeing all my guns on the table. My heart stopped and I hesitated from saying anything. I glanced at all of them as Deku stepped forward. I stepped to the side closer to the hotel door.

"C/n what's this?" He said and I panicked so I ran.

Shit shit shit. I thought as I ran down the hallway.

"Y/n!" I heard him yelling and felt his presence charging at me.

I moved quickly to the side and tripped him. He fell and I ran to the stairs and slid down the rail.

When I got to the first floor I ran out the stairwell and to the front door.

I ran out into the snow. My bear feet freezing from the snow on the side walk. I stopped and looked around and ran into a alley. I stopped at the end of the alley that ended up being a dead end.

Fuck.
