Ch.49

Izuku POV

I followed her into the hospital and her body was shaking so badly her teeth clattered together. I kept asking the nurses what was going on and one held me back as they took her to the emergency surgery center.

"Sir I'm going to need you to calm down." She said and I stopped fighting her.

"What was that?" I cried and she spoke in a calm voice.

"It's just a trauma response sir. Please wait in the waiting room she'll be in surgery for a while." She said and I nodded. I sighed and went to go sit down.

I got my phone out and called my mom.

"Sweetie what's wrong? What happened?" She asked and I leaned forward my elbows digging into my knees.

"She crashed the car really bad." I cried into the phone ignoring the looks I was getting.

"Oh honey do you need me to come by?" She asked and I shook my head.

"No I need you to stay with Yeuri." I cried and she just hummed.

"I have to stay here. Todoroki examined the scene and said it looks like a quirk was involved." I cried and put a hand on my forehead.

"Mom someone tried to kill her and I wasn't there." I cried to her as I heard Yeuri laughing in the background.

"I'm sorry son I know how you want to protect everyone. Especially the mother of your sweet little girl." She said and I nodded.

"Speaking of how is my little girl." I said smiling softly.

"She's just fine playing with one of your old toys." She said and i smiled softly.

"I'm sorry to make you watch her again mom." I said as my tears slowed.

"Izuku honey this is a emergency situation and i don't have anything else to do. I'm happy to watch my sweet granddaughter. All the medication and all." She said and I gasped.

"Fuck her medication Y/n was going to get it. I'm going to text Kacchan to go get it and stop by with it. Are you at my house still or?" I asked.

"When I heard you were going to the hospital I got everything and brought her to my house honey." She said and I nodded.

"Ok Kacchan should stop by soon." I said and she hummed.

"I'll visit tomorrow and bring Yeuri with me to cheer you up." She said and I nodded.

"I'd appreciate that mom." I said and we said our good byes and hung up.

Hours later

I was asleep in my chair when I was woken up by the doctor. I rubbed my eyes and looked up at him.

"Mr. Midoriya I understand that you and Mrs. L/n are a thing of some kind? You're on her emergency call list." He said and I stood.

"Yes is she ok?" I asked and he nodded.

"Thanks to a few healing quirks and surgery she is just fine. Now she did take a few good hits to the head. We did heal the damage but she might be a little delusional when she wakes up." He said and I nodded.

"She did have a broken back so she is going to be on strict bed rest because it'll be sore to the point of pain but it is healed." He said and I nodded.

"Thank you. May I see her?" I asked and he nodded.

We walked through the halls and to her room. He let me in and I closed the door behind me. I walked to her bedside and sat in a chair beside her bed.

She had a back brace on with a IV and a blood bag attached to her basically saying she probably had internal bleeding. I got up and grabbed her chart. I looked it over. She did have some internal injuries that were healed and a few other small ones.

I sighed and put it back when I heard her gasp. I sat in my chair and I held her hand.

"Y/n what's wrong you in pain?" I asked but she didn't really look like she was looking at me. She gripped my hand tightly as she spoke.

"We gotta disarm the missiles before they destroy the country." She said and I tilted my head.

"What?" I asked.

"We need to know how he got American missiles. You got to disarm them while I get answers. Promise me you'll do it." She said seriously and I finally understood. I smiled and kissed her hand as I held it tightly.

"I'll go disarm them I promise." I said and she smiled at me.

"Good I'll....go get....answers." She said as she fell back asleep.

"You go do that my love." I said kissing her hand again. My phone then rang. I answered it.

"Hello." I said and Kacchan spoke.

"Hey I just dropped off her medicine." He said and I nodded.

"Thank you Kacchan I'll pay you back." I said and he huffed.

"Don't there's no need. I'm fine with getting her medicine." He said and I just sighed.

"If you insist." I said and I heard a car door close.

"How is she?" He asked and leaned back in my chair.

"She's fine a little delirious. She woke up talking about illegal missiles." I said and he chuckled.

"Not surprised one day she needs to tell one of her war stories I'm curious." He said and I nodded agreeing.

"Yes she will have to do that one day." I said smiling.

"At least she's ok." He said and I looked at the roof.

"For now at least. Kacchan someone tried to kill her." I said and he huffed.

"I'll look into it more see if there's any traffic cameras that caught anything." He said and I nodded.

"You don't think it's her mother is it?" I asked and he sighed.

"I surely hope not." He said and I looked at Y/n as she slept.

"Hopefully not."
