Ch.47

I sniffled as tears ran down my cheeks. Izuku had been called out last night and I couldn't get Yeuri to stop crying.

She has been crying all night and it was now lunchtime. I was exhausted with a mind splitting headache. I changed her diaper, I fed her, I gave her a bath I did everything I could think of.

I was rocking her back and forth as I patted her back. Her tears and snot soaked my shirt and neck.

She was crying so loud I barely heard the front door open.

"Y/n? What's wrong?" Midoriya asked and I turned to him and walked over in a hurry.

"I'm so sorry. I know you just got off work but she's been crying all night and day and I don't know what to do." I cried to him and he set his stuff down. He looked so tired himself. He went to her room and grabbed a thin blanket.

"Come on." He said as he walked across the living room to our room. I followed him and watched him fold the blanket. He took her from me and hushed her as he laid her on the bed and started to wrap her up tightly in the blanket. Not too tight we're she couldn't move but enough to make her feel safe.

I watched him eagerly to remember what he was doing. Her crying died down a little and he picked her up. He started to hum a song as he bounced. He walked to my side to the crib as the crying stopped. I watched him put her down and she was now dead asleep. He sat on the bed and I crawled on the bed over to him.

"What did you do?" I whispered quietly not to wake her.

"It's called swaddling." He whispered and turned me a little bit.

"I read about it. Sometimes they miss being in there." He said poking my stomach.

"The tight fit and safe feeling. My mom showed me how to do it." He said and I put my chin on his shoulder as I hugged him from behind.

"I'm so sorry for dumping her on you right after work." I said and he shook his head.

"It's fine." He said and I just sighed.

"Izuku." I whispered and he looked at me worried because I used his first name.

"Am I a bad mom?" I asked and he shook his head.

"No this is your first time Y/n. Not everyone is perfect the first time around or the second or the third. We just need to take it one day at a time." He said and he sighed.

"Compared to cases I've seen. You're the best mom I know. Except my mom no one can beat my mom." He said making us both laugh.

"Yeah your moms the best. I should have just called her I'm sorry." I said and he shook his head.

"No this is our daughter not hers. She's our responsibility." He said and I just sighed laying my head on his shoulder.

"Sorry." I said and he leaned his head against mine.

"It's fine. It's ok to get frustrated with her tho I know I do sometimes." He said and I hummed a little confused.

"Really you get frustrated?" I asked giggling.

"Yes that's why I didn't fight with my side kick last night when she started crying. I'm sorry I just had to get out." He said and I was more confused.

"Why?" I asked and he crossed his arms.

"Work is getting on my ass right now. A lot of paperwork and villains that won't talk. So when she started I left. I did go to work but just to help with a robbery nothing to big then other things came up." He said and I nodded.

"I understand." I said and it was quiet after our conversation. He started humming that song and I fell asleep on his shoulder.

Midoriya POV

When she fell asleep I laid her down in her spot and kissed her head. She was a complete mess and I felt a little bad for leaving her with a fussy Yeuri all night and half the day.

So bad I demanded to have a few days off that's why I was home so early.

I kissed Yeuri's head. Her face still red and puffy from crying so much. I sighed and went to take a shower.

When I was done I laid in bed to sleep along with them.

Later

When the door bell rang it woke both of us up. Y/n was cuddled up with me. She huffed as tears started.

She was so tired the thought of getting up made her cry. I sighed and wiped her tears away.

"Shh go back to sleep." I whispered and she rolled over away from me as she fell back asleep. I got up and went to the door. I opened it seeing Ochaco. I growled as she walked in.

"What do you want. Everyone in this house has had a long day." He growled and she handed me paperwork.

"What's this?" I asked and she didn't say anything. I took them and started to read it.

"You got a DNA test without my permission?" I growled and she just crossed her arms. I shook my head and read it over.

My heart dropped when it said 0% match to me. I leaned against the wall as my hands shook slightly. My world crashed down until I saw a detail.

"Shadow 99.9% match?" I asked and she nodding.

"I told you." She said smirking and I laughed my anger now directed at her.

"First of all Shadows real name is Arthur but you wouldn't know that because you didn't do two sets of paperwork on his death. Second they never hung out alone for long until she was around like 8 months pregnant. Third you didn't cut off the website on the bottom that clearly says it's fake." I growled and her smirk fell. I ripped and threw the paperwork at her.

"We are not getting back together. We were in high school that's it. I broke up with you for a reason and now there's no way I'm even your friend now. Try and break my family apart one more time and I'm getting a restraining order and you can't be a hero anymore." I growled and angrily opened the door.

"Get the fuck out my house now before I make you."
