Ch.46

Few days later.

Me and Midoriya laughed as we cooked dinner for everyone that was coming over. Yeuri was officially ok and was now old enough to be around other people more.

When we were done we had to take a shower because we were having to much fun and got food everywhere.

When everyone came over Carol immediately took Yeuri from me and her and Kirishima and Mina gushed over her. She did wash her hands and everything before even touching her.

I stood and watched as everyone talked still not use to this. Midoriya walked up behind me and held my waist.

"Why don't you help me in the kitchen some more. I know crowds make you a little nervous." He said and I nodded. We went to the kitchen and got plates out for everyone and the drinks and cups.

Neither one of us noticed Ochaco come in and sit with the others. When we had set everything up I went to grab Yeuri so Carol could eat. Everyone went to the kitchen and I got a bottle for Yeuri and sat in a rocking chair. I sat with one leg under the other and set her in my lap and held the bottle for her.

I rocked the chair slowly as everyone came in the living room with plates.

"You not going to eat Y/n?" Momo asked and I nodded.

"I will I'm just taking care of my little girl first." I said and noticed Ochaco was here.

"Hey Ochaco." I said smiling at her and she just looked at me without a real expression before looking away. I was a bit confused what the hell did I do?

I brushed it off and went back to what I was doing.

I sighed my eyes closed as I rocked the chair softly. I was actually starting to get tired with Yeuri asleep in my lap. Her sleep schedule was starting to get all messed up which messed mine up. So when she was asleep I was asleep.

"Hey Y/n?" Momo said as she put a gentle hand on my knee. I opened my eyes and she smiled sweetly.

"I can take her so you can eat." She said and I nodded. I watched her take her.

"So Y/n how's house life treating you?." Ochaco asked as she crossed her arms.

"Fine. Yeuri has been staying up late for the last few days so I haven't gotten enough sleep." I said and she scoffed.

"Well I heard you slept all day long while Inko took care of her. So technically you're just dumping her onto people." She said and I was a little stunned.

Was I really doing that? Or is that how it looks?

"Uraraka." Izuku growled from the kitchen as he was doing something. I looked over the couch and clearly that statement made him mad.

"I um." I said looking down at the chair I was sitting on.

"Ochaco you don't have kids so that's uncalled for." Momo grumbled at her.

"Yeuri just got out the hospital." Todoroki said looking at her like she had forgotten.

"They both have been up for days at the hospital. So if she needed a break then she can fucking have one." Mina growled angrily at her.

"She's right. I know Inko and i know she doesn't see it as a burden." Bakugo growled and i smiled at everyone defending me.

"Anyway." Kirishima said changing the subject to when Momo and Todoroki were going to have kids.

I just listened and watched Momo get flustered. I smiled and they started talking about it and Todoroki basically gave her puppy dog eyes to convince her.

"Hey babe." I heard Midoriya say from the kitchen.

"Yes?" I asked but.

"Yes?" Ochaco said at the same time I did as she looked over the back of the couch she was on. Midoriya glared at her. He sighed angrily and slowly looked up at me.

"Babe as in Y/n as in the mother of my child." He growled it mostly meant for Ochaco. He smiled sweetly at me.

"You thirsty?" He asked sweetly and I nodded.

"Just a water." I said and he nodded.

"A cold one right?" He asked and I nodded. He gave me a thumbs up as he walked back in the kitchen.

Right when he left Carol had slapped Ochaco hard in the face.

"Do that again and you'll regret it." She growled clearly been around Bakugo too much. She didn't say anything and quietly sat there as everyone looked at her.

Midoriya came in the room with a plate and a glass of water. He walked over to me and gave me the plate and set the water on the coffee table. He sat down in front of the chair I was sitting on. He put my leg over his shoulder as he leaned against the chair a little.

"So Anything new with you guys?" He asked everyone and they all went back to normal conversation.

I started eating happy that he thought about me and got me a plate. His fingers caress my leg softly as he talked to everyone. I smiled at the loving touch.

Ever since I told him how I felt he became extra affectionate towards me. Getting me things I didn't ask for or calling off work when he knows I have been up all night with Yeuri. Even going as far to make me lunch when he has to go into work so I had something to eat.

I noticed he also had a habit of noticing the smallest things. Like how I hate sleeping underneath a blanket with socks on or remembering that I'm a cuddly sleeper and he'll put his pillows in a place where I could get them when he leaves for work.

It was the sweetest things anyone has ever done for me. I never really had someone to take care of me. I was the one to take care of at least Hanako when she was little.

I tried to protect her from the bad stuff but that didn't last long.

But it's nice to have someone.
