Ch.20

A few days later

Deku POV

I woke up early to go into work for a little bit. I can't do anything dangerous because of the bullet wound I got but I still had paperwork to do.

We are now at my place. Because they keep finding her and this place has security and this is our last resort.

The only thing is she demanded to sleep on the couch even tho she was still hurt. She was very stubborn about it so I just let her.

I got dressed and walked into my living room. It was cold in here. The fire place wasn't lit and it was snowing hard outside. I have a heater in here but she didn't turn it on.

I went to the couch seeing that she was using the pillows I gave her as a blanket along with the blanket I gave her. I sighed and shook my head.

I had enough of her stubbornness. I moved everything off her and picked her up gently. She whimpered and woke up a bit.

"What you doing?" She growled in my ear.

"Moving you. It's too cold for you to be in here." I said as I made my way to my room.

"No I was just fine." She grumbled tiredly without even trying to get out my arms.

"To bad." I said and walked to my side of the bed. I laid her down gently and covered her up with the blankets that were still warm.

"I don't wanna be in here." She wined as she continued to snuggle into the blankets.

"Your body language says otherwise." I chuckled and crouched down next to the bed.

"Because it's warm." She grumbled and I just smiled at her as her eyes closed.

I leaned over and kissed her forehead. She hummed and wrapped a arm around my neck. She pulled me closer and I moved my head to the side so she didn't do something she would regret. She kissed my cheek softly.

"You're so kind to me." She whispered and let me go. I smiled and got up.

I walked over to the door and stopped. Something was telling me to stay. Telling me to get back in bed and cuddle her. I looked back over my shoulder at her. I sighed.

"Screw work." I said and quickly changed and got back in bed.

I carfully moved closer and wrapped my arms around her waist. She felt me and rolled over to face me. She tangled our legs together and snuggled into my chest. I smiled and fell asleep.

When I woke up my phone was ringing. I sat up and answered it.

"Hello?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"You didn't come to work." My assistant said.

"Oh yeah I'm sorry I um wasn't feeling good." I said and she hummed. She then started to get onto me.

While she was doing so I noticed Y/n waking up. She rolled over and looked at me tiredly. I smiled at her and she huffed. I was a little confused because she didn't look so good. She grabbed my arm and whimpered. I hung up on my assistant immediately.

"What's wrong?" I asked her seeing her face a bit red.

"I don't feel good." She whimpered and I put a hand on her head.

"Yeah you got a fever." I said and she grumbled.

"You probably got something from the hospital sleeping in the cold definitely didn't help." I said getting out of bed.

"I'm sorry I just didn't want to run up the bill." She whispered and I stopped and looked back at her.

"I have more then enough money to pay my winter bills C/n." I said and she just frowned at me.

"How did I even get in here?" She said and I sighed.

"Well I was going to go into work this morning but saw you cold in the living room so I brought you in here." I said and I fully expected for her to give me attitude.

"Oh um thanks." She said and I was a little shocked.

"Wait you're not going to yell at me? About your personal space or how you didn't ask or get mad because I decided to stay and catch up on sleep with you?" I said and she just looked at me.

"No." She whispered and I looked at her confused.

"I'll go make you soup." I said confused.

Y/n POV

I really wasn't mad he is just taking care of me. I sighed.

To be honest he has earned my respect. He came by himself to save me and even took a bullet to get me out. Even after that fight we had.

Now he put me here because it was warm and he stayed for whatever reason. I looked at my wrapped up hands that still hurt.

"See you're getting close to him." Hanako said as she sat on the bed.

"It's not a good thing." I said and she growled.

"Oh my god Sis you're so selfish it's sad!" She yelled standing mad.

"I don't need anything." I said and she huffed.

"You need to let me go. I'm not going to be here forever even tho I'm a ghost. First you throw away our parents when it's not even their fault. Now I'm just asking you to give him a chance and you won't." She growled at me as I looked at my hands.

"Do you really think this is what I want? You to be alone and drunk for the rest of your life?! You say you don't need anyone and that's bull shit you do." She growled at me and tears rolled down my cheeks.

"I'm sorry." I whimpered as she just growled.

"Sorry for what?" The hero said and I looked up.

"Oh it's nothing." I said whipping my tears away. I said and laid back down.

He walked over and sat next to me.

"Whatever it is I'm sure it'll get better." He said rubbing my back.
