I giggled as I watched midoriya play with Yeuri.
That's when my phone rang. I looked at it seeing it say unknown.
"Fuck." I said and picked it up and stood at the living room window.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Ghost we have a issue that needs the ghost team's attention." The man said and I recognized that voice.
"General sir the ghost team is no longer active. Shadow being the last on the team." I said.
"To our knowledge and better understanding the ghost team is more then functional and has its self a new member." My Captain said and I scoffed.
"My daughter is not a pup you can train. She isn't going to have to do anything you say." I growled making Midoriya look at me.
"We understand but this is a high priority mission lives are at stake. You're so called parents are in this and Shadow now we just need their ring leader." He said and I sighed.
"I can't." I was cut off.
"We get your little complication." He said and that just pissed me off.
"She's not a complication!" I growled.
"Then don't make her be one Sergeant. You will work on this mission and be flown to Japan in 48 hours. Hero's and military are involved we need our special task force to get in close. In exchange we will resign you." He said and I looked at midoriya.
"You said hero's are getting involved.....does....does that mean the number one?" I asked and he looked at me confused.
"Yes that includes the number one." He said and I looked back at the window. My lip quivering.
"You can't bring him into this. You'll make our daughter a orphan if this goes bad." I whimpered and he just scoffed.
"There was a reason why we told you not to get close to anyone. Now that's not on us your performance in the field will determine if she's a orphan or not." He said and I sighed.
"See you on Monday." He said and hung up. I sighed and dropped my phone on the ground.
Midoriya walked over with Yeuri in his arms. He touched my shoulder.
"Y/n what's wrong?" He asked as I looked at him with tears in my eyes.
"The ghost team was called in along with hero's." I said and his eyes widened.
"What do we do? Do you have anyone that can take care of her?" I asked and he nodded.
"My mother can." He said and I nodded. I looked at her as she sat there in his arms. I giggled.
"What?" He asked.
"She looks so small in your arms." I giggled and he chuckled.
Monday morning
8 Am
On the plane.
I sighed as we flew through the air. I was getting my hair cut short and some of my uniform on.
I walked out the back of the plane passing Midoriya and going to the front. I asked the captain how far we were out. When he told me I nodded and walked back to Midoriya who was feeding Yeuri a bottle.
I didn't want her to have formula but my body isn't producing like it should be.
I sighed and clicked the button on my radio in my vest.
"Central command this is 0-1-4-7 Ghost how copy." I said looking at Yeuri sadly.
"We copy loud and clear what's your location." They said over the radio back to me.
"We are inbound for Japan going to make a small stop before heading your way." I said and waited for a response.
"Copy that. General wants you here asap that stop better be fast." The man said and I rolled my eyes.
"Tell the General that we are not at war yet and he can wait a few extra minutes." I growled.
"Yes ma'am." He said and I sighed sitting down next to midoriya.
"So will we get to see her during?" He asked and I sighed.
"I'm afraid if it's really war then no. You probably can I have to stay on base until everything is handled." I said and he looked at me.
"What Y/n. This is so fucking stupid. You barely got any rest from fucking giving birth they can't let you off for a while?" He asked and I shook my head.
"No this is extremely important. Life in the special force team is all about the special force team. I wasn't allowed to get close to anyone let alone have a child. We are just lucky they haven't taken her from us and given her up for adoption on their own terms." I explained and he sighed angrily looking down at his daughter in his arms.
"That's so stupid." He said and I nodded.
"Yes but after this I'm resigning." I said.
In Japan
We walked up to the door of his moms house. He knocked and she let us in.
I smiled at her and gave Yeuri to her.
"Ok so there should be enough in theses bags for a while." I said looking in the bag. Midoriya was saying something but my radio went off over him.
"Central to 0-1-4-7 how copy?" The man said and I sighed ignoring it.
"If you need anything let me or Midoriya know and I'll send." I was cut off by my radio.
"0-1-4-7 how copy?" I closed my eyes frustrated.
"I'll send money so you can get whatever it is." I said and she nodded.
"Ghost how copy?" They said again and I growled to myself.
"Midoriya inform her about everything else." I said frustrated and he nodded as I walked past him and in the hallway to the door. I stood there.
"Good can hear you loud and fucking clear. What is it?" I growled to the radio.
"General wants you here now." He said and I rolled my eyes.
"Be there in 20." I mumbled and walked back ti midoriya and his mother.
"We gotta go." I whispered to him. He nodded. I sadly smiled at Yeuri. I kissed her head softly and smiled at his mom.
"If you need anything or if anything happens please call me." I said as Midoriya grabbed my hand.
"Come on." He said and he basically had to drag me out the apartment.
We stood outside as I looked at my mask.
"I'm not ready to leave her yet." I whispered and he grabbed my hand making me let go of my mask.
"She'll be ok. My mom did it once before she can again. You'll see her again besides gives you a reason to come back and survive on the field." He said and I sighed putting my mask on.
"Yeah you're right. Just remember I'm your superior." I said and he chuckled as we went down to the car.
"Yes ma'am."
