"Y/n you need to sleep." Midoriya said as I was dozing off in my chair.
"No no I can't. I'm not leaving her." I whimpered and he held my shoulders.
"I know but you need to rest and eat you've been up all night." He said and I shook my head.
"No I can't. I gotta stay up just in case." I said and he sighed. A nurse then came in.
"We are going to be moving you guys to a more private room. News got out that the number one hero's here so it's going to be more private better food more room and there's a bed in there for you guys to stay." She explained and i smiled and stood as more nurses came in.
I watched as they got her things and started to roll her out the room. We followed them to the private part of the hospital.
We watched as they put everything back in place. The doctor came in.
"Mr. Midoriya Mrs. L/n." The doctor said and we turned to him.
"She will be here for a few days. We are working on which quirk cancel medication to give her. Looks like she has your quirk Mrs. L/n and you do have history of this same exact thing." He explained and I sighed knowing that it's my fault.
"Can I ask how her quirk is making this happen?" Midoriya asked. I put a hand on his shoulder.
"I'll explain." I said and he turned to me.
"Look." I said and I made my hand disappear.
"I can turn any part of my body invisible and it can go through things. It's like that hero Limillion. I can't breathe my heart stops and I can't feel anything. That's why it's called ghost." I explained to him.
"Oh." He said and I nodded turning around to the doctor.
"With that knowledge the quirk is activating on its own and making her lungs disappear. The tube in her nose is made for stuff like this. Anyway you will be able to feed her and hold her while she's here just don't bring her to far from the tube that's connected to the oxygen tank." The doctor said and I nodded.
"Ok thank you." I said and the doctor walked out with the nurses. I walked to the crib and looked down at Yeuri sleeping. Midoriya walked up behind me.
"I'll go get some of her things. Is there anything you need from the house?" He said rubbing my shoulders.
"Maybe a pillow from the bedroom and some clothes." I said and he kissed my cheek. He put his head against the back of mine.
"Call me if something comes up." He said a bit sadly and left the room.
I sighed looking down at her. She wasn't as blue as she was yesterday. I herd the door open. I turned around only to see my mother. I scoffed and walked over to the bed that's by the window.
"What do you want." I growled sitting on the bed.
"I can't be here for my daughter?" She asked and I sighed.
"Oh now you want to be here for me. Not when my sister died not when I wanted to quit not when my first mission failed. Oh not any of that but when I have a daughter you can use you want to." I growled at her and she sighed.
"I went through the same thing with you and your sister." She said and I rolled my eyes.
"How did you even know she was here?" I asked and she walked over to the crib.
"Your husband told me." She said and I sighed.
"He's not my husband." I said and she growled.
"He's not your husband." She growled and I just looked at her sadly.
"This isn't the time for your judgment mother." I growled putting my hands on my face.
"I'm sorry honey. I didn't mean it like that." She said and I sighed.
"Look I think you should leave. I don't know what you're trying to do but I really don't care for it." I said standing.
"I'm just trying to help you through this." She said and I shook my head.
"I don't need your help to get through this. I have a good man that happens to be her father helping me and his mother is rather nice to me and actually cares about her health not what she can do for the military. You can leave." I said and she sighed.
"Let me watch her while you get rest." She said and I scoffed.
"The last time you saw her you wanted to take her from me. I'm not leaving you alone with her." I said and she sighed sadly.
"Alright." She said and I watched her leave.
I sat down on the bed and watched her heart beat on the screen.
Later
"Y/n hey." Midoriya said waking me up a little bit. I wasn't even laying down I was sitting up sleeping.
"Here how about you go change and we can sleep." He said and I nodded taking clothes from him.
I went in the bathroom and changed and came back to him already in bed. He smiled sadly at me and I crawled in the small bed with him. I laid away from him facing the crib.
"I'm sorry." I whispered and he wrapped his arms around me.
"It's not your fault Y/n. Nothing and I mean nothing about this is your fault." He whispered in my ear as I started crying.
"It's just your quirk it just how it works." He said and I sighed and rolled over to face him.
"Why didn't she get your quirk?" I said and his face went pail.
"Well that's um that's complicated. A conversation for a different time." He said and I sighed.
"Ok." I whispered and snuggled into his chest.
"My mom's upset we aren't married." I said and he scoffed.
"Your mom she came by?" He asked confused.
"Yeah she said you called her." I said looking at him.
"Well I didn't and she's just gonna have to wait. Until you're comfortable enough to even be my girlfriend." He said and I giggled a little.
"You think she'll be ok?" I asked playing with his shirt.
"Yes I believe she's get through this."
