After supper, I helped my mother and slept since it was a long day after all. The next day my mother called me and delivered a piece of news to me.

"chérie, I have important news to tell you...I am going back to France. Je sais que tu voulais y aller aussi mais tu dois continued ton école." ( I know you wanted to go too but you have to continue your school) she said I gave her a small smile and hugged her "je comprend" ( I understand) I answered "I don't know when I'll be back chérie but I'll make sure to write you a letter every day." she said while cupping my face "I'll take my leave today my Verlise," she said I saw her belongings already packed behind her. I just nodded in response

"You better be careful my child. Jerry will be your chaperone I already told him to visit you every day and take care of you" she said "Oh Mother I can handle myself but I wouldn't say no to my friend" I said smiling at her. She said her final goodbye and left me with Jerry.

"Ma belle she'll be back soon," he said while rubbing my back "Merci" I replied and hugged him tight "One day we'll be in France together if you'd like" Jerry offered with a smile "oui one day." "You better go to school now Verl," he said "Oh yes I forgot about that"

I said Goodbye to Jerry and went on my journey to school. As I walked alone through the woods I saw Gilbert Blythe walking too.

"Gilbert!" I said his name, he then turned to look around and saw me but then he didn't really say anything just a blank face. How strange I thought to myself. I didn't bother and just went on my way to school. I have arrived

"Y/N Verlise," said Mr. Phillips "Yes?" I answered, "You are late today, being careless about your study I might say," he said, "This is my first time being late Mr. Phillips" "I-I can see that" "good to know, now if you don't mind I'll go sit down," I said wanting to end the stupid conversation "On the board Y/n!" he shouted. I just rolled my eyes at him and went to stand in front of the board

  "I Y/N Verlise will mind my attitude when talking to elders," he said out loud while writing it on the board. "Write 50 of that on the board," he said and went to read a book to the class his boring and annoying voice literally pisses me off.

It was now Lunch Time Mr.Phillips and his Lover Prissy Andrews went to his part of the room of the classroom.

"Hello Beautiful" I turned around and saw Billy Andrews "Piss off Billy," I said annoyed "I've been eyeing you for months and months now," he said confessing "Billy, you sound like an old pedophile," I said while chuckling "I'm sorry," I said holding my mouth "Billy get away from Y/n," said Josie I know he's been eyeing him before I came. I just can tell from her eyes.
