Days, Weeks, a few months went by.
El kept holding onto hope that Mike would forgive her and they could be friends but it didn't seem like he was coming around.
"Please come sit with us!" Max begged dragging El to thier table.
"I dint wanna make anyone uncomfortable" El whispered
"Hey losers! You guys mind if El sits with us?" Max asked.
"Of course not!" Will said happily.
"Mike?" Max asked sternly.
Mike looks up and shrugged "I don't care.."
Max nodded and pulled El down to a seat.
"So El where have you been? What have you been up too?!" Dustin asked.
"Oh not much... focusing on school." El shurgged.
"We've missed you!" Lucas said.
"Sorry. Busy girl" El laughed slightly
"Come with us tonight!" Will begged.
"Oh my God yes!! That would be so fun!" Dustin yelled.
"Go where?" El asked.
"Were going to a concert! Please come!" Max begged.
"I---" El stuttered.
"Come on!!! It's been forever! Please!" Max begged.
El sighed and nodded "Okay.."
"Yay!!" Max and Will clapped and continued to make plans.
Anytime she looked at Mike she could see him smirking at his phone paying no attention to her. Which hurt.
That night Max came over and they got ready together. A rock concert was all El got told so she worked with what she got.
She put on a see-through black top, a leather black mini skirt, fishnet tights, black knee high leather boots, and a smokey eyes make up look completed with dark red lipstick.
"Damn. Someone's trying to show someone how hot they are" Max laughed.
"Just trying to show him I don't care I guess" El shurgged.
Moments later the girls ran downstairs to see Will, Lucas, and Dustin.
"No Mike?" El asked
"He's gonna meet us there" Lucas said.
They all headed into Dustin's car and blasting music to get pumped.
After an hour ride out of town they arrived at a dark parking lot. Everyone got out of the car laughing, having a great time.
El really missed this. Laughing and being able to be herself and not hide any part of her.
That was h til Mike approached. And how he approached.
Here Mike Wheeler came walking up to the group hand in hand with another girl. Els heart sank to say the least.
"Wheeler!!" Lucas yelled
"Hey guys! This is the girl I was telling you about. Cassidy" Mike smiled pulling her along.
Els breath hitched and she felt like she couldn't move.
"Cool! I'm Lucas, Dustin, Max, Will, and El" Lucas pointed at everyone.
"Cool!" The girl giggled and held onto Mike.
El looked at Max with pleading eyes.
"Let's go!" Max yelled laughing and grabbing El dragging her with him.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't know he had someone" Max whispered
"It's okay... I gotta move on..." El sighed.
"Your 100 tomes hotter just keep that in mind" Max laughed.
They eventually all got to the lot of the concert.
"So El! Any boyfriend I should meet?" Cassidy asked.
"Nope. Boys are just trouble" Elmshurgged and looked at Mike who quickly looked away.
"Yeah guess I found a good one" Cassidy laughed.
"Yeah good luck with that one" Max laughed making El giggle.
"Oh I love this song! Dance!" Max yelled making El laugh but agree.
The two of them bounced around with no care in the world screaming the lyrics.
Cassidy sat back giving them werid looks but Max noticed where Mike's eyes were. But she'd keep that to herself.
"El!! You gotta run out of energy at some point!" Will yelled.
"Never!!!" El yelled jumping on top of Dustin's back making him laugh.
"God I've missed you!" Dustin laughed.
"I've missed you guys too" El giggled.
"I'm gonna go get water" El giggled and dashed the other direction.
El finally found a booth with water and grabbed one. She started to head back before she was stopped.
"Well Hello there!" A older man said eyeing her up and down.
"Uh--hi?" El questioned.
"What's a pretty young thing like you doing all alone?" He asked leaning closer.
"I'm with friends. That I should be going back too" She said trying to take a step forward but he blocked her.
"Why in such a rush?" He questioned
"I need to get back please..." El begged.
"Awww come on. A girl dressed like.... this... you need some attention... your boyfriend obviously isn't here to help" He grinned and grabbed a piece of Els hair making her flinch and shut her eyes.
"I'd remove that hand if you wanna keep it" Growled a voice and El slowly opened her eyes to see Mike stepping forward.
"And you are?" The man questioned.
"The boyfriend" Mike replied.
"I highly doubt that. Someone as hit as her with a scruny biy like you?" The man laughed.
"Do you even know this boy?" The man asked and El nodded scared.
"Who?" He asked
"He's the boy I'm madly in love with..." El whispered closing her eyes.
"Let the girl go.. " Mike.growled again.
"Glady..." the man said pushing El right at Mike making them both stumble.
El sighed jumping back from Mike and straightened herself out.
"Thanks..." El mumbled.
"Don't mention it.. I just was coming out of the bathroom." Mike mumbled and started to walk away.
El sighed grabbing his arm "Mike wait..." She whispered.
Mike froze and turned around.
"I'm sorry... " She whispered.
He nodded looking at her hand on his arm.
"Can we please... be friends again? I... I miss you.. all of you..." She said softly
He sighed and nodded.
"Friends... I'm sorry for over reacting.. were good" He gave a small smile and she let go of his arm.
El sighed watching him once again walk away from her.
She just admitted her feelings her herself. She's in love with Mike Wheeler but he had already moved on.
