The television clicks on reveal three news reporters in their pristine suites, sitting level with each other. The time in the top left corner reads 5:54pm. The right corner reads channel 48. The news anchor in the middle opens his mouth to speak.

"In other words, all of the staff at Sakura TV are Kira's hostages", The man reveals.

"Aside from that we have a professional obligation to reveal this message to you... I assure you this is not a hoax and that Sakura TV is not sharing these tapes for the purpose of sensationalism", He states.

You and light sit across the street in an abandoned building parallel to Sakura TV news station.

"You're a genius" Light looked at you longingly with a pen in his left hand and the death note in his right.

You were sitting on a chair close to the window, binoculars in hand. Turning around to look at him you smiled and simply stated:

"I know"

"They should be watching Taiyo TV right now right?", you asked him.

he looked down at his watch and counted the seconds aloud, 58...59...60. They had a special on the Taiyo station. They were interviewing two notorious murderers tonight. Minato Tanaka  and Hiroto Ito were meant to die at exactly 6:00. You hear the distant screams from the building signaling you that your plan was set in motion. 

The whole purpose of the tapes was to prove Kira's power to the people of the world and to force the police into submission. In the tapes, the consequences for not cooperating with Kira were stated plainly. If the police chose not to, they would have to have L or a Chief publicly announce it. And if they agreed, then they would have to continue airing criminals daily.

 Ryuk chuckled loudly as people ran to escape the building. Trying not to crash into the people, a police car rolled up to the scene.

Hirokazu Ukita

52 years 6 months 2 weeks 3 days and 12 hours 

"Hirokazu Ukita" you shouted out loud as Light jotted down the name in his book.

The man, trying to get the attention of the security guard inside of Sakura, failed to do so and pulled out his gun to shoot open the door. He, however, didn't get that far. He dropped his gun and fell to the ground, clutching his chest as he died. The sirens to the police car, still wailing extremely loudly. You felt no remorse this time because you didn't write his name. Therefore, you did not kill the innocent officer.

Eventually two more police cars had shown up to the building. You rinsed and repeated the same process, telling light their names and watching them drop like flies. The news reporters standing outside of the building retreated, out of fear for their own lives.  Your eyes widened, putting down binoculars as an ambulance smashed through the doors of the television station.

"IS THAT-!?"

"MY FATHER!" Light finished your question.

Leaving behind the binoculars, you and light left in a hurry. You ran out the back door, racing towards the main street. You snorted in laughter from the adrenaline, running as fast as you could.  From a distance, you could hear a man yelling into his megaphone about proceeding with caution. It was very faint but still audible. You and light ducked into a crowd, your hand in his, watching the Jumbotron on the side of the skyscraper in front of you.

"There you have it, the police refuse to cooperate with Kira. Instead, they are preparing to fight", The announcer stated.

"And... as much as i fear for my own life in saying so, this is right! And it must be done!" He continued his previous statement.

"Kira has become a threat to our very constitution, and as citizens, we must fight back!"

"I am NHN's golden news anchor, Koki Tanakabara!" He finished his segment.

As the Jumbotron cut out you and light began to walk away back to your apartment.

You giggled as he pulled you in to kiss you. Opening the door to your apartment, you squealed as he wrapped his arms around your waist and proceeded to trail kisses down your neck. You continued to giggle as you pushed him off of you.

"Stopp", You tried to catch your breath.

"We have so much work to do, now that they've taken the bait", You told him.

"You could just kill L right now", Ryuk shrugged.

"But they don't know about the eyes. Im sure now that L has concluded there is more than one Kira, however, he thinks Me and / or Light are the original one. Without him knowing about me having the eyes, that gives us an advantage. If i kill him now, the police will know it was one of us. But if we wait until he goes to announce the agency's resistance, no one will ever know who it was", You explained to the stupid creature.

"And besides", you said putting on rubber gloves. You also handed a pair to the brown-haired boy next to you.

"I know just how to make their cogs turn", You stated, a huge smile plastered on your face as you picked up the journal entry you had written. 

You handed it to light as he looked it over. It was a log of encoded messages only you and him could understand. You knew if they aired it, it would cause a mass panic. You wanted to send it to Sakura Tv to give it to the police as evidence. L would surely call you back to look it over, clearly needing more than one intelligent brain to review it. 

"This is amazing", he said looking at you surprised.

"I'm impressed that you've thought this far ahead".

You took the paper from him, putting it in a manila folder and handing it back to him once more along with an extra pair of gloves. 

"Tomorrow, take a bullet train to Saitama and put this in a public mail box, its important to make sure they receive it from a place far from here", You told him.

"Of course, my Goddess" Light said tucking away the folder and pulling you in for one last kiss.

You began to jump and squeal.

"This is going to be perfect".
