You along with light and the task force sat in a room together. You and light sat opposite each other on the sofa, Ryuzaki in the middle. Everyone knew that you'd broken up about a week ago.  You two wouldn't stop shooting angry side glances at one another. Not to mention the many quarrels and backhanded comments.

Lately, you didn't have the time to be at headquarters with Light. You were too busy with your newfound career of modeling. You had decided to take up Misa's offer and call her manager. Where you, of course, were hired. It seemed to suit you well, also. 

Watari beeped in on the computer.

"Ryuzaki, Sakura Tv has just received a new message from the second Kira. It was postmarked on the 23rd", He informed them.

The message began to play

"I have to say that i have found Kira. To all of the people at the television station and the police station, I'd like to thank you very much.", You heard your distorted voice say over the computer.

"This is a disaster if he found him", Aizawa stated.

"Yes, this means that the two Kiras have most likely teamed up", Mr Yagami added.

"At this point i don't think we should jump to any conclusions. The second Kira is only saying that he found him, nothing more. He may not have made contact yet..." The genius detective insisted, looking up at Light.

They continued to discuss their next course of action. And they decided upon confronting the second Kira.

His hands trailed your body as his lips left marks on your shoulder. In the dimly lit hallway, he kissed you passionately as you struggled to open the door to your apartment. You giggled and opened the door as he followed quickly behind you. He threw his uniform coat on the cold floor and shut the door behind him. You wrapped your arms around the back of his neck and continued to kiss his lips. 

Looking up at him, you told him, "We really shouldn't be doing this...".

he responded by rolling his eyes. You felt him smile on your skin as he pulled his face away from your neck.

"I don't know what you're talking about", He lied.

You pushed him away and looked at him seriously.

"She's supposed to come over again tonight isn't she?" You inquired.

He grabbed you by your waist pulling you back in. Gazing down at you he spoke.

"I don't want her... I want you"

Soon after you made him leave. You couldn't continue going back and forth with him on it. You wanted him too. He knew this. But you needed to do this. Not only for the sake of keeping your names clean, but for him. For your future. Therefore, it was imperative that everything went smoothly tonight. He walked home all alone. It was chilly outside and  the clouds mostly covered up the stars. He left his coat at your place for you to sleep in. He knew you didn't want to do this just as much as he did. He knew you missed him everyday and he missed you too. 

This plan better be worth it

He displaced his anger, kicking a rock as he walked home. Ryuk watched as the boy huffed and puffed all the way home. He grew worrisome for the boy.  Light wanted to be left alone but soon after he arrived home, he was met with the eyes of a girl he'd wished were anyone elses.

Sayu stared past her brothers shoulder, wondering who this gorgeous stranger was.

"Hello and good evening. My name is Misa Amane. I only came to give light back an important textbook he left at school today" She stated looking at Sayu.

"Please, come in", Light ushered her though the door.

"Are you sure its okay?"

"Mom she came all this way to bring me a textbook, can you make us some tea?" He asked.

They stood still as he walked with Misa's hand in his. He looked at them stupidly and stated, "I already told you about her".

He took her upstairs to his room. She was eager to catch his attention. Misa believed she wanted this boy... Or more like, she needed him. He was the most gorgeous man she'd ever seen. She was infatuated by his hair and his face. Actually, she loved everything about him. He closed the door behind him and she immediately clung on to the boy.

"Will you make me your girlfriend?"

He removed her from his arm and stared at her blank-faced. He didn't want her, in fact, he didn't even like her. The last time he saw her, he took her on a date, per Y/N's request. He came to realize that he couldn't stand this girl. Everything he was doing, he was doing for you, for your plan. It was important for him to get this right.

He smiled at her, narrowing his eyes. It was a warm smile, a welcoming smile. But most importantly, it was a fake smile. He sat on his bed and leaned back on his hands.

"Of course, that's precisely why i asked you to come today", He stated honestly.

"Yay", She exclaimed before jumping into his lap and planting kisses on his face.

He groaned uncomfortably .

"So are you actually planning to check all of the tapes we got from Aoyama by yourself?" Aizawa asked genuinely.

"That's right. I think it's very likely that Kira and the second Kira made contact with each other there, on that day. So i want to check all of these tapes personally", L replied.

"Also Mr. Yagami?", The detective beckoned.

"Uhm, Yes?" 

"Please tell Mr. Mogi to start following Light so we can keep tabs on what he is doing", He answered promptly.

"You want him followed?", The worried father asked.

"It's only a slim chance, but if Light is Kira then there is still a possibility that the seocnd Kira might still try to contact him somehow", He explained.

"Very well".

As you laid on your bed, wrapped in his coat, an ominous voice began to speak to you.

"This is a very dangerous game you are playing, Y/N", Rem told you.

"Maybe, but he needs me" You stated plainly.

"But also, I have the eyes".
