"Good morning, Bhavika." Lahela said and opened the door.

"Good morning." She replied and sat up in bed.

"I have good news. You will be checking out of the hospital today. We have confirmed you are ready to go back home."

"That's amazing!" She exclaimed.

"Yes, your sister is coming soon to help you pack up. It was nice working with you. If anything goes wrong I'm only a phone call away."

"Thank you Dr. Floyd." Bhavika thanked her.

"Call me Lahela please." She smiled and left the room.

Bhavika got into her wheelchair by herself - something she had mastered now - and began rolling around the room picking things up and packing them away into the duffel bags Shalene had brought with her when she had woken up. When Shalene had finally arrived Bhavika was already packed up.

"You are excited aren't you." Bhavika nodded, and Shalene watched her in utter joy. "Come on let's go home."

Bhavika waved goodbye to the nurses on the floor and a few doctors that had checked on her. They checked her out at the front desk and she said goodbye to the receptionists there and finally left the hospital. For good this time. Shalene helped her into the front seat of the car and put her wheelchair in the trunk.

"You ready?" Shalene asked as she slid into the drivers seat.

"I've been ready for a while."

Shalene started the drive back to her house. She didn't actually remember what her house looked like, but she hoped it was nice. They pulled up a street that started to look familiar and pulled into the driveway of "her house".

"Here we are." Shalene said and put the car into park.

It was a quaint house, honestly just enough for one person like herself. Shalene opened her door and helped her down into her wheelchair. A ramp had been built to accommodate her two new wheels. She rolled up them and Shalene handed her the keys. Bhavika placed the key into the lock and turned it, she opened the door and rolled into a surprise.

"Surprise!" Rohan, Natasha, Athena and Kate shouted as she rolled through the door.

"Guys!" Bhavika rolled inside farther and began hugging all of her family and friends. "You guys didn't have to do this."

"Yes we did you've been in the hospital for months. You deserved a nice surprise for once." Natasha hugged her. "Now, you can drink can't you?"

"Yeah just a little. Don't want them interfering with my meds. Antidepressants and alcohol don't always mix." She laughed and rolled into her kitchen where a nice meal was set up for all of them.

"All your favorites." Shalene said and stepped in front of her to point out the dishes. "Lamb vindaloo, naan, samosas and gulab jamun's."

"That sounds amazing."

Everyone dished up their portions and sat around her dining room table. They chatted as they ate.
