I jumped up to the screen as I saw her body go limp. I fell to my knees as Felix talked on. I tuned him out completely. Carolina put her hand on my shoulder. The transmission finally ended and left us all in silence.
"She's pretty hot. Let's go find her" tucker finally broke the silence.
I completely ignored him.
"Come on guys. I guess we will go find her. I mean, Washington has done a lot for us.." Grif said with a huge sigh.
Everyone nodded in agreement. Even though the Reds and blues can be stupid, selfish, assholes, I appreciate them.
Soon after we all set out in full gear. The Kajeel cliffs were just beyond a small forest, which we trudged through silently while we whacked at weeds in our path.
Something bright caught my eye: a flower. It's red petals and white tips entranced me. Quickly I picked it and put it in my bag.
Without realizing it, we walked right into their trap. Locus attacked Carolina, but locus, miscalculating the trajectory, Got kicked off. As I watched, I was attacked by Felix. A knife dug into my arm and I twisted out of his grasp. Caboose kicked off a few other mercinarys while tucker made a mercinary kabob on his energy sword.
Unintentionally, we all formed in a perfect fighting formation. The Bullets flying and punches being thrown scared the alien wildlife away.
"Washington, we will hold them off. Go get Alaska." Carolina ordered. This is what I was waiting for.
I ran over to the bloodstained tree and started to untie Alaska. She opened her eyes and they peiced my heart. The blue waves of here irises washed over me.
The roped gave as I slashed them with my good arm. She fell to the floor and I pulled her up. She looked up at me and hugged me hard. Her face was buried in my shoulder as I stroked her hair. The faint scent of strawberries filled the air.
She pulled away, now realizing the battle going on. Her eyes widened and she gasped.
"No guys get away!" She screamed desperately. At that moment, Felix pulled out the energy katanas.
I could feel that she was in tremendous pain? But she ran at Felix and twisted one of his wrists. He. Swung the katana at her head and the light reflected off her face. At that moment, I knew she knew what she was doing. The katana knicked her cheek and a think line of blood welled up.
Felix dropped one as he held his now broken wrist. Alaska grabbed the katana and thrusted it at Felix. He blocked it with the remaining one he had, but she had a plan. She jabbed her foot right in Felixs balls. Felix fell to the ground and dropped the katana. She bent to pick it up, but locus was right behind her. He swung and I heard a loud bang. Oh no.
