"The Meta was eliminated?!" I over heard locus talking.

"Yes Felix. The dumbass reds and blues with two freelancers by their side got the meta and destroyed the equipment" Locus calmly said.

"GODDAMMIT" I stomped my foot.
" those Damn reds and blues! Now we have no equipment!!" I growled. A new mission and new gadgets always excited me but now our main target was gone and I didn't even kill it!

"Calm down, loudmouth. We have a new target, one of the last AIs. Zeta. And the freelancer who holds it won't be hard." Locus sneered. New armor always made him happier.

"What?! I thought they were eliminated except Washington and Carolina." There can't be another.

"Agent Alaska" Locus continued reading from the database. "19, sister of Carolina. Status, eliminated. Active camo with zeta," he said a little puzzled.

Locus clicked and typed for a little and finally turned back to me.

"Eliminated by Maine, but we have a signal and confirmed its her." He says but his voice turns a little giddy "and it says she may have had relations with Washington." He laughed.

I had an idea " if we deliver news she's alive and lure them to where we can ambush them, we can get them and their precious ai."

Locus nodded. "Decent plan. Right now they are at chorus. If we send them a video transmission, it would be all the better. Also I read here, she has a prototype weapon, energy Katanas. We can get those too!" His voice became a little higher with excitement.

"Where did you track her to?" I asked.

"The Kajeel cliffs." He replied.

This would be easy. "Let's go then" I said. I was ready. It was time for a fresh killing.

...

There sat Alaska. Feet dangling off the cliff edge. I exhaled quietly, but not quietly enough. Alaska snapped her head and immediately drew her Katanas. She moved away from the cliff edge. Her visor was cracked and died blood covered a third of her suit. She stared straight at me even though she couldn't see me. Out of impulse, I threw a knife that she easily deflected with just her Katanas. This was it. It was time to attack.
