Deceptive Love

~ Fifty ~

I clasped my hand tighter in Nico's large one as he led me throughout all of the tables in the restaurant. I didn't know Cathalina would invite Romano and Dominic but I'm not complaining. We grabbed a round table near the back of the restaurant which was kind of secluded but you can still see the whole restaurant. Nico and I unlinked our hands and he pulled out a seat for me and I sat down. Nico sat beside me, on my right was Dominic and opposite Dominic was Romano and the other two seats were for Cathalina and Bryce. Cathalina sat opposite me. 

 We all got drinks, I stuck with the water but I put it in my wine glass and Nico laughed at me. Cathalina cleared her voice and said, "well I brought everyone I care about here for a reason and the reason is because I would like to talk about something..." Cathalina looked at Nicholas and said, "well special."

Nicholas awkwardly gave her a smile, he's new to the whole nice thing and everything. Romano said, "brother loosen up she's not gonna fucking tell you off."

Nico gave Romano a look that looked like he was gonna slit his throat. I just reached for Nico's hand as I smiled. Romano looked like he just crapped himself. Cathalina asked quickly and sharply, "Nicholas will you be the godfather of Bryce and I's baby."

I looked at Nico's face and he looked flipping terrified. I never thought I was see the look of horror on Nico's face. I let out a small laugh and Romano took out his phone and took a picture. Nico stated, "Dominic is great with kids."

Dominic said, "don't fucking bring me into this." 

Nico stated defensively, "I'm a bad influence."

Cathalina said, "no you're not, plus it's not like you're alone, Mia's the godmother."

Nico looked at me and said, "but she'll be good at it."

"Nico baby, you'll be good at it too."

Nico looked at me and smiled then looked at Cathalina. Cathalina smiled as said annoyed, "Nico fucking say yes so we can get to eating."

Nico leaned back in his seat and I gave him a reassuring smile as he nodded and said in uncertainty, "ok then."

 Romano stated fake wiping his non-existent tears, "this is so cute, imma cry." We all started laughing even Nico. We ordered our meals and everything. We started talking a lot and everything. 

Dominic asked, "Cathalina pray to baby Jesus that you're having a boy?"

"Why?"

Dominic laughed and said, "because if you're having a girl then she won't be dating anyone."

"Facts, I'll shoot any guy that comes near her, don't you worry Cathy," Romano says as he plays with the steak knife.

Cathalina turned to Romano with a disgusted look on her face, "A) never call me Cathy otherwise you'll die. B) If any of you interfere with her life in the wrong way I'll kill you..." She looked at the three of them, "got it."

The three of them nodded and I couldn't help but let out a soft laugh. I asked, "do you know any names yet?"

"Well definitely for the boy the name is going to be Greyson Channing  Bridge, for the girl we were thinking Angelique Avalee Bridge, " Bryce says.

"Awww, that's so cute," I smile.

The entrèe and drinks came and everyone continued to talk. 

Nico turned to me placing an arm on the back of my seat. He asks, "wanna place a bet."

I furrowed my eyebrows, "on what?"

"Boy or girl. I'm placing a bet of $1000 that it's a boy."

"Oh Nicholas, Cathalina is definitely prego with a girl."
