~ Fifty Five ~

Wedding day!

I opened my eyes slowly, as one of my legs were half of the bed. Oh crap my neck hurts like a boulder hit it. I turned to my other side to see Cathalina. I quickly sat up and looked at the time. 12:00pm. Oh god the wedding is in 5 hours!!!!

I shook Cathalina saying, "wake up, we need to start getting ready the bridesmaids will be here in 30 minutes."

Cathalina slapped me and I grabbed a pillow and hit it on her body as I protested, "wake up Cathalina before I grab a bucket of ice water and I pour it over you."

Cathalina sat up quickly and pointed her finger at me and she gritted out, "you wouldn't."

I got off the bed smiling, "so would!"

Cathalina looked at the time on the side of the bed, "Oh SHIT."

I nodded agreeing. She quickly got off the bed and said, "we need to get to the dressing place."

I need to get some underwear.

I said, "you grab then stuff you need and I'll do that too then we'll meet up at the car in 5 minutes."

She exhaled as she smiled, "ok let's get this party started."

I quickly ran down the hall to Nico and I's room. The dress and everything, like all of my makeup is there. I got to the door and I opened it up. Huh Nico is probably out doing work. I smiled under the memories yesterday. I hope the tree is ok. Then sadness tugged on my heart. I said to myself, "Mia just forget about Michael, you don't need him."

I scurried around the room and grabbed everything. I took off my shorts and quickly put on some underwear. Then I put my pj shorts back on again. Commando Mia is out of the building. I rushed into the wardrobe and grabbed out the dress in the black zip up protector.

I'm actually so excited. I quickly placed it on the bed and tied up my hair. I grabbed my hair and makeup products and headed out of the room with everything. It was really hard to carry everything like god why is this dress so heavy, how did mom wear this?

I met Cathalina at the g-wagon and she was eating a muesli bar. My stomach grumbled in protest of a snack. Cathalina looked like she already put everything in the boot. I walked to the boot and put everything in and walked to the drivers seat. I assisted Cathalina in getting in she's still in her onesie it's pretty funny but she's got a tiny human in her so she finds it difficult getting into big cars. I jumped up into the drivers seat and started the car driving to the destination.

"Are you nervous?" I asked.

Cathalina mumbled as her face was half full of food, "of course I am, I think I'm most excited for the cake, Gladis is making it."

"That is so exciting!"

"How about you? I mean you and Nico, what is even happening there." Cathalina asked curiosity written on her face.

I slid one hand from the seat to the gear as I explained, "I have no clue what is going to happen with us. Nico said that he wants to take our relationship further but I mean we haven't said the 4 letter word yet to each other."

Cathalina nodded. I said, "I just don't want to rush into anything, I mean, I care for your brother deeply but what if something happens between us, I'll have to create a new plan and I like to follow a structure so I want to know what his going to do about it..." I looked at Cathalina for a split second, "ya know."

Cathalina crinkled the 5th protein bar wrapper into bowel and said, "the only advice I can give you about Nicholas is that you're the only person his fully been in a relationship with and I feel his very serious when it comes to you. I've never seen my brother like this... happy and full of emotion. The four letter word doesn't need to be said because the way that he looks at you Mia just tells everyone that he loves you."
