"You sure you don't wanna come?" Zane asks his brother as he walks down the stairs. "Everyone's gonna be there."

"I'm good bro, promise. I'm stealing your guitar for the night okay?" Chance calls as he opens Zane's door.

"Alright, go for it. Cya bro!"

"Where are you going so dressed up?" Zane's adoptive mother pulls the teenager into a hug when he reaches the family room.

"I have a date."

"Is it the little emo boy?" His mother asks excitedly and pulls away. She's grinning at her son, pushing his hair back so she can kiss his forehead just above his scar. "You really like this boy, don't you?"

"I do. He's different. At first he just reminded me of myself, but we are actually very different but still so similar."

Sara watches her son smile thinking about the boy, she knows the little emo would be good for her trouble making son.

"So, where are you going?"

"Skatepark," he says simply. "It's kinda a triple date. John and his girlfriend will be there, and Ethan and his date will be there. So, kinda a triple date."

"I need my camera, hold on," she claps her hands gently and scurried away into the living room.

"Is this necessary?"

"Absolutely! It's your first date!"

"It is NOT my first date. I've been on many dates!"

"It's the first real date," Sara comes running back in with a grin, a black Nikon camera in hand. "That I approve of."

"Oh come on-" Zane tries to argue back but his mother interrupted him.

"Zane, please just smile," she steps forward and pressed her lips to her sons cheek.

Zane sighs but he gives his mother a smile. His brows soften, his eye lids lift, his smile is small, teeth less, but genuine. The camera clicks twice, a flash then his mother grins.

"Thank you, now go have fun! Don't drink, make smart choices, and use protection."

"Holy shit mom," Zane's hand drags down his face as he shakes his head. "Is that what you think of me? We're going to a damn skate park."

"Okay okay, go have fun, Zane. I love you."

"I love you," he reached into the closet and pulls out his board which is best friend Ethan bought him for his birthday. "I'll be back before midnight," and with that he steps out of the house and starts skating to the meeting point for him and the Emo. He sits at the park swing with his board between his feet until he heads wheels hitting the ground. He looks up and sees his little emo slow to a stop, the butch lesbian and strawberry hairs girl next to him. He steps up and grabs his board. "Hello hello," he runs over. 

"Hi," the emo grins. "So, where's this skate park?"

Zane wears a ripped black jeans that give his legs a weak hug so he can still move around. A white fleece sleeveless shirt, black thread outlining the holes with a light black jackets over his arms. Black high top converse laced around his ankle.

Shane wears loose back jeans, held up to his waist by a spiked belt. A cropped fishnet shirt with sleeves, no jacket. Red and black checkered converse loosely tied. His hair is curled and held down by a beanie.

Gill wears a tight sports bra with a Mudd Le shirt over, blue basketball shorts to matches her blue vans and blue and black thrasher skateboard. Her hair is tied back and up in a bun, covered by a beanie.
