I woke up the next morning to a screaming match taking place. I silently crept down the stairs. I saw Sam on one side of the room and my parents on the other.

"You don't understand what he put her through! Why can't you believe me on this." Sam screamed running a hand through his hair.

"look, we know Fintry was never very well liked by most people. We convinced his parents to talk him into dating her. We wanted to unite our families since we are the richest in our whole county. Plus with out our help she probably wouldn't have had her first boy friend yet. Sometimes parents have to do what they have to do."

"You make me sick she is your daughter, you should have protected her, not hurt her."

I heavily stepped of the last stair so they would know I was there.

"So mother you did what was best for me? Well it wasn't. He put your own son in jail. He tried to rape me and then he did. I can't believe you did all of this for money. Oh, me and Elliot are back together."

"Fintry you will break up with him or we will cut you off."

"Fine cut me off, I'll get a job and work for my own money. I don't need your petty money." I said turning around and going back upstairs. I heard footsteps behind me and saw Sam following me.

"Fintry, I'm sorry. We were talking and it just got out of control."

I shrugged. I still had Sam, Elliot, and all my other friends. I grabbed my suitcase and started putting all my summer clothes in it. I think it was time to head back to the beach. Me and Elliot were back together. They were building a case against Carter. I was having a fall out with my parents. It was time to escape for a little bit.

"Where are you going?" Sam asked looking very puzzled.

"The beach, time to escape for a while." I grabbed my phone and texted Elliot telling him the plan. I got a short text a few minutes later telling me he would be back at the house soon. I walked down stairs to the game room and woke up the boys.

"Get up I'm leaving." I said nudging Austin with my foot. I turned on the lights and all the boys groaned. They all groggily stood up shirtless.

"First put on a shirt." I said warily eyeing all of them. They all started flexing. I rolled my eyes and let out a small laugh. They all grinned before putting on shirts.

"So, I'm leaving soon. I'm heading back down to Myrtle Beach."

I heard protest come from most of them. Austin just wrapped me up in his arms.

"I'll miss you be careful." He muttered.

All the boys got up and hugged me. Greg gave me a noogie. I glared at him and patted down my hair. We all stood around talking for a bit. I heard the doorbell and ran up stairs to the door before my parents could get there. I opened the door and saw Elliot standing there. I rushed him inside and down to the game room.

"Well I guess this is good bye for a while." I said crossing my arms over my chest. They all nodded. I heard a chorus of be safe. We all hugged one last time. I ran upstairs and grabbed my bag. I walked into the living room and saw my parents sitting there.

"Goodbye people who birthed me."

"Fintry where on earth are you going?" My father asked putting down the paper.

"Away, with people who actually care for me." I gave them a tight grin and walked out.

I grabbed Elliot's hand and walked out to Ashton's car. Elliot got in the driver's side and I got in on the passenger side. Elliot started the car and backed out of the drive way. I put on my aviators and put my feet on the dash. It was one of those gorgeous days that made you just want to drive around with the windows down. I turned up the radio as we went down the exit to get on to interstate.

I hummed along with the radio as the exits flew by. About an hour later we stopped at a gas station. I grabbed a twenty from my wallet and walked into the store. I grabbed a bag of Doritos, kit-kats, a Pepsi, and a Mountain Dew. I walked to the front and paid. I walked out into the hot sun and crossed to where Elliot was filling up the car. I got back in my seat and opened the Doritos. I happily munched on the chips as I waited on Elliot to get back in.

I heard the car door open and watched Elliot slide into his seat. He started the car and ran a hand through his hair. He gave me a smile and leaned over and kissed me. I grinned before kissing him back. He pulled away and drove out of the gas station.

we drove for a few more hours before stopping for lunch. After that quick stop we kept driving, you could tell we were almost there because traffic was at a standstill. After waiting for a while we finally got started moving again. I could smell the salty sea, I closed my eyes and breathed it in.

Once we reached the beach house I got out and practically ran inside. I saw Bailey sitting on the couch. She saw me and we both screamed. She stood up and ran over. We engulfed each other in our arms and stood there hugging. It felt good to see her, she was my best friend and these past weeks had been hard with out her.

After we stopped hugging I went over and hugged Ashton, then Wyatt "Good to see you." He said before plopping down on the couch. I heard the door open and turned my head to see Elliot struggling with the bags. He dropped them and came and tackled Ashton. I chuckled as I watched them wrestle.

I crept out of the room and walked out to the balcony. I leaned against the railing and watched the waves crashing against the sandy beach. For the first time in weeks a weight had been lifted off my chest. I could breath and let my guard down and not have to worry. I heard the door open and saw Elliot walk out.

"Hey, we got invited to a bonfire tonight. Do you feel up to going?" He asked coming and standing beside me. I gave him a nod and turn backed to the waves. I felt his gaze on me.

"You ok?" he asked gently rubbing my shoulders. I nodded and leaned my head back. I felt his lips on the base of my neck. "I love you baby." He whispered in my ear. "I love you too."

He grabbed my hand and led me inside. We went up to our room. I tensed up thinking of the fight we had in here. I shook off the feeling and grabbed a cute bohemian outfit and put it on. I curled my hair in lose beach waves. I braided my bangs and pulled them back.

It was now about twilight. We all were walking down the beach. I could see the fire in the distance. There were already a lot of people crowding around it. After walking another ten minutes we reached it. Ashton and Bailey introduced us to some new people and I saw Rox, Joel, Dustin, and Lee. They came over and we started talking. I excused my self to go grab a drink. I walked over to the table sitting on the sand. I grabbed a can of diet coke.

"Hey." I heard a familiar voice slur. I turned around and saw Nate.

"Nate." I yelled before hugging him. He wrapped his arms around me and picked me up. "How have you been?" He questioned sitting me down. I told him everything that had happen since we had last spoken. "That son of a gun." He said rubbing his jaw.

I shrugged. "It's been difficult, but I have my friends." I said giving him a tiny grin. "Well I'm glad your ok." He said before heading off to a group of his friends. I walked back over to where Elliot was. "Who was that?" was the first thing out of his mouth.

"A friend I met at a hotel." I said with a tiny shrug. He wrapped his arm around my waist. He gently kissed my temple. "Just as long as he's not trying to steal my girl." I giggled.

"Well the night is still young so let's party like were 21."
