The news about the verdict of Carter's trial broke around our tiny town rather quickly, everyone gave me nasty looks or looks of sympathy. I was tried to ignore it the best I could, since I had to go back to school soon it helped. I was supposed to go eat with Elliot's family, and mine tonight. I just  hoped people would stop staring long enough for us to enjoy our meal in peace with no interruptions from the people around town. I finish curling my hair and ran my fingers through it to create a softer wavy look. I put on my New York and Crew gold colored watch and a necklace with a giraffe. I looked down at the dress I was wearing. It was a rose red it came to mid thigh with three fourths sleeves. I heard a knock on the door and watched as my gorgeous boyfriend walked in. He was in a simple button up and khakis. "Frat boy." I mumbled under my breath.

"What was that?" Elliot asked with a smirk. I watched as he unbuttoned his shirt and grabbed one of my hats putting it on his head backwards, then proceeding to grab my Ray-Bans and slip them on over his eyes. "This is a frat boy." He said spinning around, I chuckled at him as I touched up my make up. He took off my things and buttoned his shirt back up before sitting on my bed, playing his latest obsession Geometry Dash. The game had been out for a while but he was just now getting obsessed with it.

I turned up the music coming out of my phone. It was Brett Elderidge's new album. I danced around as Shadow played.

I know I got a problem, but you know what they say smoke em if you got em.

I sung into Elliot's ear, I started to dance away but he grabbed my hand and spun me on to his lap. He smiled and kissed me. "Your so silly." He mumbled, as he wrapped his arms around me. I shrugged, it felt good to finally be able to let loose again and not have that cloud always looming over me.

"Come on, let's go so we aren't late." he said standing me up. I grabbed my phone and bag and followed Elliot out to his car he finally got fixed. I wasn't even aloud to touch the keys this time. He started it and backed out of my drive way. We were going to Olive Garden in the next town over. It was a good thirty minute drive from my house. Elliot held my hand as he drove. It was a gorgeous day in September that just felt like fall. I brought my feet up into the seat, and leaned back.

"What are you thinking about love?" Elliot asked slightly puffing out his lower lip and raising his eyebrows in curiosity. "Just how good life is right now, I haven't been this happy in a while. Thank you for that Elliot." He smiled and brought my hand up to his lips and gently kissed it. "Anything for you, and baby about this summer, you have no idea how sorry I am. I should've believed you, I don't know why I didn't. It was childish of me to shut you out like that. I will spend forever making it up to you. I mean it when we are old and on our death bed I'll still be trying to make it up to you."

I chucked at the last part. "Elliot honestly it's ok. I don't blame you I would've acted the same way."

"But I should've known you wouldn't have done anything with the guy who tried to rape you, then I did the worst possible thing."

We both knew what he meant, sleeping with that skank. It still hurt, I mean he basically cheated on me. I just shook my head. We hadn't discussed this yet. I took a deep breath. "I'm still not over that, because you could've handled the situation much better. I mean if you go and sleep with some random chick because you believed some lie, how can I know next time we get in a fight you won't go sleep with the next walking STD you see." I was trying rather hard to keep my cool.

"I know, and seriously Fintry. You think I'd sink that low?"

"No, I'm just saying that everyone does stupid things when they are in love, hast, crazy, dumb things. Sometimes you don't even mean it. You just aren't thinking, like you obviously weren't that night."
