chapter 23- Miss me princess

Elliot and me drove back the following day. I really got to know Brooke and his grandparents. They were sweet people and cared greatly for Elliot. We sang along to the new Billy Currington song Don't It as we headed down a back road. I danced, with the windows down the wind was blowing in my hair Elliot looked at me and laughed. It was one of those rare warm winter days when everything felt perfect. Elliot pulled into a McDonald's and we ordered before pulling back onto interstate. Soon after that we got back on campus. Elliot kissed me goodbye before I headed to my dorm building.

I walked in and started up the stairs. I felt someone roughly grab me. "Miss me princess?" A voice asked sending chills down my back. I turned around and saw Carter. I backed away. "I swear you better not touch me." I Said shaking. He came closer. "Come on baby you know you want me." He said pushing me against the wall. I shook my head, shaking even harder with the tears flowing freely. "Get off me." I yelled. He laughed and put his hands on my waist. I felt my self going light headed before everything went black.

I heard beeping and had a bad headache. I looked around I saw Elliot sitting there with red, puffy eyes. "Elliot what happened?" I asked my voice scratchy and rough. "You had a panic attack, Carter tried to force him self on you and you passed out, so your in the bloody hospital." He said anger showing in his voice. He stood up and kissed my forehead before going to find a doctor.

The doctor came and to check and see how my vitals were. Elliot came back a few minutes after the doctor left with a teddy bear and two dozen colorful daisies. I smiled up at him as he gave me the teddy bear that was holding a heart that said 'I love you beary much.' I giggled at it. He sat on the bed. "The doctor just needs me to sign some papers, I may or may not have told him we were married, but then you can go." He said with a lazy grin. I shook my head as the nurse came in with the papers. She was looking him up and down. I was a little jealous. When she came back in to grab the papers Elliot spoke up. "So wifey were would you like to go?" He said before kissing my lips. She gave me a nasty glare before walking out. I laughed as soon as the door closed.

"Elliot your so terrible." I said giggling. "Why? because I showed her who actually matters to me?" I felt my heart melt. "No, because you lied to a doctoring staff." He just blushing and I smiled.

I was finally free to go and we walked out of the hospital hand in hand. Elliot walked me up to my dorm before kissing me goodbye for the second time today. I walked in and saw Bailey grinning happily. "Hey babe, why are you so bubbly?" I asked curiously. She held up her left hand to me. I gasped. "Ashton proposed." She screamed, jumping up and hugging me tightly. I squealed and hugged her back. "Fin?" she said still grinning. "mhmm?" I mumbled in response. "Will you be my maid of honor?" I nodded smiling.

I grabbed a drink out of the fridge and snacked on lay's chips. I watched Harry potter on ABC family. Bailey's phone went off and I could tell it was Ashton by the way she was glowing as they talked. I hope to have that one day when your so madly in love you can't shut up about them and they make you happy all the time. Someone you can't live with out. I want that with the man I'm with once we get further down the line in our relationship, we hadn't been together that long, but I knew I never wanted to leave his side.

"Fin, hey you've been zoned out for about five minutes now." I shook my head. "Sorry boo." I said standing up and walking to my closet. I put on a white t shirt with a lion in a beanie and scarf that had a low back, jeans and keds. "We are going out, not clubbing but to eat to celebrate, just us girls." I said curling my hair in loose corkscrews. Bailey nodded and got dressed.

I drove us to PDQ. I ordered the tenders meal and sat down. Bailey joined me after getting her food. "So how did he ask?" I said grinning. "He asked infront of the fountain at the park. He even asked my parents, how sweet is that?" She said love shining in her eyes.

"Enough about me. What's going on with you and Elliot?" I sighed gently. "He took me to meet his grandparents, because his parents and girlfriend died in a crash a little over a year ago. Anyways when we got there I found out he has a little girl. Turns out his girlfriend had her a few months before the crash." Bailey's mouth was wide open. "He just now told you this?" I nodded. "To say I would've been pissed would be an understatement." I nodded agreeing with her. " I was so mad and upset and I thought he cheated then I understood, he was so scared." She shrugged and nodded.

We sat there until the placed closed before we headed back to he dorms. We walked in together. I saw Carter standing in the corner turned around. I grabbed Bailey and rushed up stairs. "I may have forgot to mention Carter is here and I was in the hospital earlier today because I passed out from a panic attack." She looked mad.

"He can't take a hint can he? you don't want him he lost you he used you. Your happy now, he just wants to hurt you again because hes not stable enough to have a relationship, he thinks playing with your feeling is ok, well newsflash he needs to back off, or if he ever settles down and wants to have kids he won't be able to."

If she only knew how right she is.
