Chapter 3

Settling down

I woke up to the sound of noise, it was 9pm already.
I greeted the occupants in the room at the moment and settled down to arrange my things.
The cupboard was big enough, not a walk in tho, but big enough for a dorm room.

As I arranged, my new room partner kept chatting with her friends not saying a word to me. After about an hour their whispers and laughs died, I turned and realised they left already and she was tucked underneath her covers. I finished unpacking at 10:40 and made my way outside the dorm with my rules in my hand.
Headed straight to the park across the dorm which i sighted earlier for an evening dose of freshness.
I sat at the fountain and started reading the dorm rules. The were rules students could abide with, not too strict. In a way I wanted to thank my parents for the experience of independence.

I stood up, walked round the fountain and made my way back, the street is already quite, few vehicles. Went into my room and changed into my Victorious pyjamas, tucked myself in and continued my novel..

I didn't sleep until 2am in the morning, since it was Saturday, I didn't care to be bothered.

I slept peacefully.
