Two Weeks Later

There was surely some crazy stuff that had happened so far. Xander was apparently split into two parts: One confident and one insecure by some demon who actually intended to kill Buffy.

But, you know how it goes. The main character vanquishes the evil foe and all is well.

My actual research into the whole mystery of me was becoming very difficult as school somehow managed to breathe down my throat even here.

The romance between grandpa and my sister was starting to get too gross by this point. Whenever they did their makeout sessions, I heard some loud moans which disturbed my study work. I really found it weird that Joyce never complained about it to her. Whatever, she was absent from the house most of the time.

I was discussing with Joyce how my friends harassed the new substitute teacher when the most unbelievably weird and shocking thing happened.

As she was bringing omelette on a plate for me, she suddenly closed her eyes. It was almost like she had an epiphany or was confused. I couldn't really place what exactly it was. I'm not a mind reader, am I?

"Oh what is the.." she looked around and then looked at me and probed " Who are you?"

Then after that, she dropped the plates on the floor and fainted.

I was starting to panic and full-on hyperventilate. Images of my parents in my previous life started to flash before my eyes all of a sudden and My first instinct was to run to my phone and I dialled 108. I was duly informed by a lady's voice on the landline that the number does not exist. I was starting to panic, even more, when I remembered that 911 was the emergency number in the US. Then I dialled 911 and some paramedics were outside the house after some time.

I joined Joyce as they took us to Sunnydale General Hospital. Joyce was on a bed attached to some medical equipment and immediately taken for treatment while I waited outside.

I actually met this nice guy called Ben.

He calmed me down as I was still reeling from the whole 'looking at a fainting woman for the first time' thing

He calmed me down as I was still reeling from the whole 'looking at a fainting woman for the first time' thing. He even entertained me with some 'rock, paper and scissors' and gave me his stethoscope so that I could play doctor. He asked me if there were any other relatives of mine to which I replied that I had a sister named Buffy.

After some time I found Buffy with a white sleeveless vest and red pants rushing towards me.

"Hey, how's mom? Are you okay?" Her concern for the family reflected in her voice.

"I'm Okay" I assured her as she hugged me.

I returned the hug.

"And your mom's doing just fine" Ben interrupted us at the correct time when her hug was starting to get may be a little too tight.
