"i nearly peed myself when you hit him" veronica added. "well i did a little" they both started laughing.
"hey" fi said when she saw us coming. debbie and carl were right behind me.
"hi" lip mumbled
"how my of you guys live here?" the strange man asked. veronica explained while we all sat down.
"youre a nurse?" the guy asked
"used to" v answerd.
"lying bitch" fi laughing, handing me a beer.
"she worked housekeeping at cook county. bedpans and shit sheets" i explained
"fine. but i was offered a place in the nursing school." v said
"fine, but it never happend. they fired you for selling medicals on ebay" fiona laughed
"shut up! we dont even know him" veronica snapped.
"she's fucking right, who is he?" i butted in, pointing at the guy
"steve" he said and shook carls hand.
"carl"
"lip" he introduced himself.
"debbie" fiona said
"how are you doing debbie?" steve asked.
she ignored his question and instead she said "nice watch"
"thanks. panerai"
"ian", ian said.
,,hey" steve greeded him. "and you are?" he asked me.
"uh violet" i said.
"nice to meet you violet"
"yeah. thanks. too" i mumbled.
"yo veronica?" we heard a voice and turned to the door. "you got my keys?" kevin, v's boyfreind came in. his first look went to steve, sitting on the floor, being patched up by v. "whats going on here" he asked.
"this is steve. decked the bouncer at purgatory to defend my honor" v said.
fiona laughed. "my honor" she corrected veronica.
"yeah? which bouncer?" kev kept asking.
"jimmy clifton!" v exclaimed
"jimmy cl-? jesus man. you just digged your own grave" i snapped.
kev looked impressed. they started talking about some shit with jimmy clifton.
"okay, come on time for bed. up the wooden hill" fiona butted in.
"it's not even midnight" carl grumbled
"already? fucks sake" i said.
"shut up" lip laughed.
"come on. move move move" fiona pushed us upsairs.
in lips, ians and my room and fell on my bed. i was pretty tired, but i would never admit that.
"what do you guys think of steve?" i asked into the dark.
"uh well i dunno" lip answerd.
"he seems pretty nice but i dont really know him, sooo" ian said. i smirked.
"goodnight assholes" i said.
"goodnight dickhead" ian said. seems like lip was already sleeping. i closed my eyes. jesus, thats a good feeling. and i fall asleep.
