"Next order please," Hueningkai called.
He was about to ask his next customer what he wanted but...
"Kai?"
"Taehyun."
It's been a month since Taehyun and Hueningkai broke up after the younger one discovered that he was cheating on him.
Since then, the two became a distant memory in the back of their minds, and haven't spoken to each other at all.
Which makes sense, obviously, because who would keep in contact with their ex? And ever since then, Hueningkai's life hasn't been the best.
All of his friends left him, because now that Taehyun wasn't around to help the shy caramel blonde get over his social awkwardness, he lost all of them.
But only he was unlucky.
Taehyun was having the time of his life with his new partner, a girl this time, and almost forgot about him.
Keyword, almost.
Because Taehyun, unlike Kai, still followed him on Instagram, and watched as the twinkle in his eyes disappeared. He wasn't dumb to know that he was the reason behind Kai losing his smile with every passing day.
And now that he saw him, right in front of his eyes... he just wanted to talk.
"Hey Taehyun," Kai says, composing himself.
"Hey... it's been a while."
"I know."
Kai tapped his fingers against his cash machine.
"What would you like to order?"
Taehyun bit his lip.
I must have really hurt him... he can't even look at me anymore.
"A coffee please."
"Got it. Anything else?"
Taehyun exhaled, and looked at Kai with his doe eyes. He knew damn well that his eyes were Kai's number one weakness.
One look into them and he couldn't refuse anymore.
"Can we talk? Please."
Kai wanted to say no. But deep down, he also wanted to sit down and talk. After all, neither of them have had the chance to do so.
"Fine. Just give me a few seconds; I'm about to go on break."
"Great."
Kai only nodded curtly and turned around to finish his coffee.
His break started seven minutes later, and by then, Taehyun was midway through his coffee. The smaller silver haired boy was beginning to think that Kai wouldn't come, but the younger had kept his promise and sat down across from him.
