The room was lonely. It felt hot and stuffy and I was uncomfortable. I was all alone. Alex was on tour once again, on the Monkeys's second leg of their 2022 tour.
I opened the doors to the balcony to breathe in fresh air. I missed him, too much. I needed his warmth, his comfort. I closed the doors to the balcony and slipped out of my shorts so I was left with my strawberry lace underwear and one of Alex's shirts.
I turn the TV off and slide under the comforter, charging my phone, getting comfortable for bed. I felt a buzz come from the bedside table.
Alex..
A rush of excitement went through my veins and I answered the phone.
"Hey Baby" Alex said and I smiled
"Hi Bubba" I smiled even though he can't see
I switched the call to Facetime and I saw his beautiful face. He smiled and got comfortable in his hotel bed.
"How are you?" I asked grinning at him
"I'm great darling, the show was fucking amazing" Alex said as he closed his eyes smiling
"How're you babe?" He asked me
"I'm fine, i'm alone and I miss youu. So much" I said
He pouted at me
"I miss you too luv" He half smiled
"I wish you were here" He continued
I missed him so much.
"I love you bebe" I told him while brushing strands of hair out of my face
"You're so beautiful" He complimented me "And I love you so so so much" He finished with a giggle
I laughed and dimmed the lights in the room a bit. I was getting sleepy and I noticed that he was getting sleepy too
"hun i'm gonna let you go to bed alright?" I told him and he shook his head
"No I wanna talk to you more darling" He protested
"Baby c'mon you're falling asleep" I said as I noticed him trying to stay up
"A'ight you win" He admits and I giggle
"I love you Alexander" I whispered and smiled at him
"I love you too arabella" He always called me "Arabella" as a little nickname
"Wish I could cuddle up to you right now handsome" I sighed "Stroke your hair..." I finished
"Don't break me 'eart darling" He moaned sleepily
"Fuckin adore yeh, you know tha'? Love you to the moon and back, princess....."
"I'll talk to you tomorrow Mon Amour" He tells me
"I'll answer" I smiled and I blew a kiss, He smiles and catches, and smashes it on his lips.
I said my goodbyes and he did too and I ended the call. I couldn't wait for him to come home.
