After I left school today my heads been pounding , 

Literally I can feel my pulse thru my fingertips , 

when I shut my eyes it's even worse. 

*Knock Knock*

My eyes pop open and I looked in the direction of the front door where the noise came from . 

"What?" 

The door opened , 

"This is the second time your here in the same week , what could you possibly be here for now ?" 

He just looked at me blankly , 

I was not in the mood for this right now . 

"If your gonna hit me just hit me . Don't stand there like you can see through me , do something ! Jump !" I yelled getting in his face 

Still NOTHING ! 

Come on , of all times I'd expect him to do something . 

He stared at me for a few seconds , then he grabbed my face and looked into my eyes . 

I see it , 

The first time he realized how he felt about me , 

"And if I do this then what do I get ?"  I asked making a stink face .

"Me." 

"Oh please , Nobody wants you." I laughed 

It was after one of his basketball games , 

and the gym was empty . 

Nobody there except for the night guy . 

"Do I look like I can make a dunk ? I'm mad short !" I screamed

"I thought you said you were 'fun sized' ?" 

"Fun sized , short  , same thing !" I laughed 

I kept trying to throw the ball in the hoop but it wouldn't go in . 

"Try it like this ."  He put his hands on mine and then we shot it and it went in 

"I knew how to do that ." I said smiling while he ran after the ball 

"Oh did you now ?" he said crossing over in front of me 

"Ok show off . We know you can play basketball."  I folded my arms 

"Aww , don't be a soar loser." he said walking over to me 

"Hmph." I turned my head to not look at him 

He moved over to step in front of my face , "Pouting gives you wrinkles ya know." 

I rolled my eyes smiling , 

"There it is ." he poked my dimple

"Can we go now ?" I asked tapping my foot

"Whatever.." he said turning off the lights and we walked out.

Once we got into my driveway , 

"I had fun." I unbuckled my seatbelt

"I know ."  he said putting his arm around my seat

"You know? Don't be acting all cocky nigga." I laughed 

"I never said I was cocky lil nigga." 

"Didn't have to." I said getting in his face 

He licked his lips , and I looked at them then back up at him.

"It's-"  he started talking

"Don't , say anything." I whispered leaning in to kiss him 

First kiss , with someone I thought I could love forever and a day

I touched his hand and I was back into reality , 

"There wasn't a day where that moment wouldn't play in my head." he sat on the couch

"You can't do this to me." I yelled getting up feeling tears start to well up in my eyes

"Do what ?!" he got up with me

"You can't just mess up then come back doing or saying something that's gonna make me change my emotions it doesn't work like that Millen." I felt the first tear fall 

"I'm not saying it does." 

"Yes you are , do you realize how many times you've broken my heart and we've never been officially together ? Not Once !" I yelled "You can't just come here and do something to me and act like it never happened and it doesn't matter."

"And you can't just let this dude take my place. You know what we had , it's still there I know you feel that. Alicia you can't do this, you can't let him take your heart when it's not there." 

"Keyword had , past tense. This isn't my doing! You did this ! I didn't break my own heart ! You did ! The only reason you have this hold on me is because I never took the time to let things just happen and I think this is just what I need, to stop trying to fix things and just let them fall into place."

"What are you trying to say?" 

"I'm , I'm saying that ..." I stuttered
