Riley 

"We got 5 minutes to get the hell up outta here." I said

"Nigga , why you ain't bring that shit up before. Hell , how the fuck you expect us to just up and leave school and head over to Nino's ?! We gonna get caught I'm telling you." Juel said 

"Will you just trust me ?!" I yelled 

The halls were now empty , Principal Phi already made her rounds around the halls to see if anyone was skipping class. 

Juel looked both ways to see if anyone was there. 

"Man ! Just go open the door." I said as I started doubting we were gonna make it

He leaned against the door to open it when we heard a loud alarm noise .

"What the hell !" I yelled over the noise

"Should I open it still ?" Juel asked

"No Shit ." I huffed

Classes started coming out into the hallway ,

I saw Lelina from a far along with Nicole

'What's going on?' Lina mouthed

I just turned away playing like I didn't see it .

"Boys , my office ! Now !" Principal Phi said

I didn't even see her .

"Go back to class false alarm." Ms. Phi said

We followed her to her office ,

"Explain." she said sitting in her chair

We told her some bold face lie , about how there was something urgent happening at Juel's house and I was his only ride . 

"Guys, I'm letting you off with a warning. Go to class ." she said standing up 

We were getting ready to walk out when she stopped Juel. 

"Stay back for a few." she said 

Juel sent me a head nod telling me to go.

I stood outside the office waiting , I overheard them 

"Juel , you're doing good with basketball right ?" she asked 

"Yeah I guess." he said unsure 

"Your dad would be so proud of you." she said 

His dad was always a touchy subject with him , he never knew his dad , same with me except its the  opposite I never knew my mom. She left when I was 6 so the memory's vague . She's out there somewhere. 

"Can I go back to class ?" he asked 

She sighed , "Sure thing." 

He walked out the door and saw me standing there , 

"I told you to go." we began walking down the hallway 

"But I stayed." I replied

I got home from school a little while ago,

Out of nowhere I heard an annoying beeping noise.
