Two years Later
"Hey Amaya!"
"Hey!" Amaya smiled and continued to class. She was very popular at Hogwarts. Everyone said hi to her. At first people seemed weary around her because she was a Slytherin, but they warmed up to her eventually. She smiled at everyone she passed.
Amaya saw Sirius laughing with his group of friends. They had promised to be friends forever, but they don't really talk anymore. Amaya had realized that she had a crush on him, he would never feel the same of course. So she decided to just avoid him.
"Hey Amaya." Amaya jumped a bit at the sound of James' voice. She turned and gave him a warm smile.
"Hey."
"How's my favorite Slytherin?" Amaya laughed and pushed him a bit. James kinda became like a brother to her, which made it so much harder to avoid Sirius.
"I'm fine, and you?"
"Oh you know, the usual. Being perfect and amazing. It's actually quite tiring." James wore his signature smirk.
"Hey Maya." Amaya frowned knowing who that voice belonged to.
"H-hey Sirius. I umm I have to go." Amaya rushed off without even glancing at Sirius.

"Maybe she hates me." Sirius said as he watched Amaya rush off down the hall. It hurt that she avoided him. What did he do? She smiled at everyone but him.
"Naw mate. She's not capable of hating anyone." Sirius just walked to class.
After class
"Ugh that class was the worst." James complained.
"Oh come on. Divination isn't that bad." Remus replied.
"Sorry Remus, but we have to go. Come on James, Peter."
"Why? What are you guys doing?"
"Nothing." Remus looked hurt. 'It'll be worth it in the end. Just pretend a little longer.'
The three boys rushed off and into the girls bathroom. It was always empty and no one came in here.
"Okay so the potion is brewed now what?" Sirius asked.
"We have to have a mandrake leaf in our mouths for a month." James made a disgusted face.
"And why might you be brewing a potion in the girls bathroom?" They turned to find Amaya leaning on the door frame.
"We were-uh- just-" Sirius interrupted Peter. "None of your business." Hurt flashed across Amaya's eyes at Sirius' cruel tone.
"Oh who cares if she knows? We can trust her."
"We can't just tell her James." Sirius refused to look at Amaya knowing if he did he would give in.
"We're becoming Animagus!" Peter squeaked.
"Peter!"
"Animagus. Cool, I want in."
"No way. See, this is why we shouldn't have let her know." Sirius glared at Peter.
"Why are you becoming Animagus anyway? Is it because of Remus?"
Sirius finally looked at Amaya shocked, "You know about Remus?"
"Of course. It was actually really obvious. I'm surprised you didn't figure it out earlier."
"How long have you known?"
