6 years later

"Mum, look at the owls!" Amaya looked out the window and saw a bunch of owls on the Dursley's home.

"Why are they at Harry's house?" Theo was staring out the window with wide eyes.

"They're trying to give Harry his letter."

The doorbell rang. Amaya answered it to see Draco. "Hello Draco."

"Hello Amaya. Can I hang out with Theo? I asked if Harry could join but there was just a bunch of yelling."

"Yes of course. Come in." Draco walked in and began talking to Theo.

"Did you know I got my Hogwarts letter!"

"Really? I can't wait until I'm eleven."

"Then we can have all sorts of fun at Hogwarts."

Someone knocked on the door and Amaya answered it.

"Dumbledore?"

"Mrs. Black. May I come in."

"Sure." Dumbledore walked in and sat on the couch.

"I'd like to offer you a job at hogwarts."

"Why?"

"There are a few students who could use the help of a tutor."

"So you want me to be a tutor."

"Yes."

"What's in it for me?"

"Rumor has it Sirius Black is trying to get into Hogwarts. I thought it might interest you."

"And what's in it for you?"

"You know Sirius better than anyone else."

"I'll accept but I won't be helping you with any of that kind of stuff."

Amaya was laying across the couch as the news played. Theo was outside playing with Harry.

"Everyone is asked to keep a lookout for the escaped convict. This man has killed 13 people."

Amaya glanced at the tv and then did a double take when she saw the picture of the man. It was Sirius. She sat up and stared. He escaped?

Amaya ran outside and over to the Dursleys. She knocked on the door. The door was opened and Petunia smiled.

"Where's Theo?"

"How am I to know?"

"Theo!"

"Yes mum?!" Theo came running from the backyard followed by Harry.

"Come home. We need to talk."

"Okay." The two walked home in silence.

Amaya sat Theo down on the couch.

"Okay, do you remember what I told you about your dad?"

"Yes, he's on special business for the ministry."

"Well actually, I don't know how to say this. He was locked up in Azkaban."

"Azkaban? You mean the prison?"

"Yes but he isn't bad. I can't prove it but I know he's good."

"I believe you. Why did he get sent there?"

"They said he did some bad stuff. I know he didn't."

"Why are you so sure that he didn't do it?"

"Because your dad is the most amazing, kindest person ever."

"I'll make sure to defend him forever! Dad is the best." Amaya smiled at her 11 year old boy.

"Are you packed for hogwarts?"

"There's still a whole week before we have to leave."

"I know. Narcissa invited us to stay at their place for a week. She said that Draco wanted you to go."

"Really!? Could we?" Theo's eyes lit up.

"Yes of course. Go get packed." He ran to his room in a hurry.

Amaya looked at the four pictures on the mantle with a sad smile. The first was just Theo, the second was Theo and Draco, the third was her and Theo, and the last was just Sirius. 'Stay safe Sirius.' She thought.

Sirius walked down the empty street heading to private drive. He had to see him. Sirius spotted a boy sitting on the curb by a park. He hid in the bushes watching him quietly.

Harry seems to have spotted Sirius. He fell over when a bus came zooming towards him. Sirius was about to go closer when he caught a familiar scent.

Slowly he followed the scent and ended up at a house. There wasn't a car in the driveway and nobody seemed to be home. Sirius went around to the back and peeked into the windows. The house was empty. He transformed into his human form. He tried the back door to find it unlocked.

Slowly Sirius crept through the house. He went into the living room and studied the pictures on the mantle above the fireplace.

He looked over the pictures of a little boy. He was riding a bike in one, in another he was laughing at another boy. The other boy was blonde and looked a lot like his cousin Narcissa.

Sirius was about to look at the next picture when he heard a banging on the door. He went over and peeked through the blinds. He saw a man standing out there looking like an angry walrus.

"I know he's in there! Give me the boy!"

Sirius opened the door just as the man was about to start banging on it again.

"How can I help you?" The man froze, his eyes widening in fear.

"Y-you're that man. The one on the news!" Sirius flashed him a smile.

"Did I look good? I sure hope they captured my good size." The man ran away in fear and Sirius sighed. He had to leave immediately before the Aurors came. No time to explore more.
