Chapter 15

7th year graduation

Amaya ran into the great hall and found Sirius. "We're graduating today!" Sirius hugged her and spun her around laughing.

"Alright calm down. I know, it's very exciting for you seventh years." Dumbledore said and everyone went quiet. "Alright now, when your name is called you will come up here and receive your certificate. We will get a group photo of everyone to hang in the hall of graduates."

McGonagall stood up and began reading off the names of the seventh years.

"Sirius Black!" Sirius jumped up and walked to the stage with pride. "Congratulations Mr. Black."

"Thanks Minnie!" McGonagall tried to hide her smile and quickly wiped tears from her eyes.

"Claire Burrows!" Claire walked up and stood next to Sirius smirking at Amaya.

"Amaya Bridgerton!" Amaya walked up to the stage with a bright smile.

"I'm sure her and Black will be over soon and then she'll be mine." Someone in the crowd said a little too loudly.

As soon as Amaya got her certificate then Sirius grabbed her and pulled her into a kiss. He smirked at the boys sitting at the tables and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind.

"Are you serious?" Amaya said with a smile.

"Yes I am!"

"Lily Evans!" Lily stood next to them.

"Remus Lupin!" Remus walked up and grabbed his certificate. He stood next to Sirius and Amaya.

"James Potter!" James strutted up and grabbed his certificate. He stood next to Lily and pulled her into his side, earning a glare from Snape.

"Peter Pettigrew!" Peter scurried up there and stood next to his friends.

After everyone had gotten their certificates they all got a picture. The marauders got a picture together and then Lily and Amaya joined for the next one. Sirius and Amaya got a picture together and so did Lily and James.

Sirius was beyond nervous. James and Lily were already engaged and would be married next week. James came up with the idea to have a double wedding. That's how Sirius got to where he is right now.

"It's not as scary for you as it was for me." James said, trying to calm Sirius.

"Why not? It's terrifying."

"You already know that she'll say yes. You guys are betrothed."

"I know. Still." James patted Sirius on the back.

"You'll be fine."

"Is he really worried about asking her?" Lily asked as she walked into the room.

"He's just being dumb."

"Sirius where are we going?" Amaya asked as she was led somewhere with a blind fold on.

"Just wait. We're almost there. Okay." He took the blind fold off and Amaya gasped.

There was a lake with beautiful trees surrounding it. There was a waterfall that when the sun shined just right you could see a rainbow.

"It's beautiful. I love it so much." Amaya turned to look at Sirius. She gasped again seeing him on one knee.

"Amaya Bridgerton, I have loved you for so long and will continue loving you forever. I want to wake up every morning with you right by my side. I want to have a family with you. I want us to grow old together. Will you make all of my dreams come true and marry me?" Amaya had tears in her eyes and a smile on her face.

"Yes! Yes a million times yes! I love you so much Sirius!" Sirius stood up and hugged Amaya. He put the ring on her finger and hugged her again.

"No! I already called having Remus as my best man! You can't take him!" Sirius yelled at James.

"He doesn't want to be your best man. He wants to be mine! Right Remus?" The two turned to look at Remus sitting with the girls planning the wedding.

"I'll be both of your guy's best man. Peter too. If that's okay with you guys."

"Yup! You hear that Pete?" Peter looked up from the ground.

"Huh?"

"You're gonna be our best man."

"Really? W-why me?"

"You're our friend. Once a marauder-" Sirius began.

"Always a marauder." James finished.

"Okay, I'll do it."
