She turned on a night light she used to use when she was younger, setting it on the desk that was in the room. She gave Ashtray a quick kiss on the forehead before leaving the room, leaving the door cracked open.

She hoped she had made progress with Ashtray, i mean he did trust her enough to fall asleep in the same room as her.

Reina's pov

"Ashtray, are you ready yet?" I yell up the stairs.

"I'm coming, chill!" He yelled back, I set my bag by the front door and went to the kitchen. I put some waffles in the toaster,
"Morning Ash." I said, seeing him walk into the kitchen.

"Mornin, what you doin'?" he asked, confused.
"I'm making a quick breakfast." I said, grabbing the hot waffles from the toaster.
"You been doing that every morning?"
"Yea, and?"

"You don't need to be doing that." He said.
"I don't mind, plus you don't take lunch so i don't want you starving till you get home."
"Thank you." Ashtray whispered.

Both me and Ash went out the front door, getting into my car, I handed him his waffles and began driving.
"How's school going?" I asked.
"Not to bad, but all i gotta say is im a fucking math genius. " Said Ashtray before taking a bite from his waffle.

"That's my boy." I said, putting my fist out for a fist bump. It was our new thing, a way i could show him I was proud. "Dinner tonight?"

"Hell the fuck yes." he said in excietement, I nod in agreement.
"Ok, have a good day, i'll pick you up." I said to Ash as he got out of the car, "It's Friday, so have a good day."

"Hey bitch!" I look up from my locker, seeing Maddie Perez coming towards me.
"Hey babe." I said, engulfing her in a hug.

Maddie and Reina had gotten closer after the New Years party.

Maddie had decided she didn't see Reina as a threat to her and even said she loved the girl after she found out what Nate Jacobs had tried to do to her, and what she responded with.

"What's up?" Asked Maddie.
"Oh nothing, just dropped Ash off at school." I said, closing my locker.
"You're gonna be that boy's sister in law one day."

"No, Maddie. Nothing is going on with Fezco and I."
"What about new years?" she asked, while we began walking to class.

"That was basically nothing, and plus. We've barely talked since then." Maddie stopped dead in her tracks. "I've literally spent more time with his younger brother than with him."

"Excuse me?" she asked, turning her body towards me.
"Fez dropped Ash off the day after the party, he texted me, checking up on me and the boy." i sighed, "And Fezco has no time for a girlfriend.  He's still legally responsible of Ash and he needs to be kept safe." I shrugged, knowing I had to think the same way.

"Hell no. Hell. No." she said, "You guys are meant to be. Both of you are hot as fuck, both have lived on your own since a young age, both keeping up with the same typa family business," Maddie winked at me, "You guys are litterally a Wattpad story."

The way she was talking had me grinning like an idiot.

"I'm skipping the first period, I hate art." I said.
"Ok, i'll see you at lunch babes." said Maddie, walking off after blowing a kiss.
