Fezco took the sight in, he watched as Reina tucked Ashtray into bed. Rubbing his cheek with her thumb. Kissing him on his forehead.

He watched as Reina acted like a mother towards Ashtray.

The mother he never had.

The mother he deserved.

They both walked out, Reina gently closing the door behind them.

"You did a good job." Spoke Reina, after they walked into the kitchen. Fezco furrowed his eyebrows at her in confusion. She jumped on the counter, pulling her right leg up to her chest.

"I mean like, he's a good kid. I know he won't say it often but...he loves you. A lot." she said, Fezco watched as a single tear rolled down her face.

"Hey? Why you crying?" He asked, walking over to her. He parted her legs, so now he was standing in between them.

"I don't know, it's weird. I've only known you guys for like... a week. But..." she paused, taking a deep breath. "I care about you guys. I see Ashtray as my little brother, and I can't help but wanna protect him." 

Reina knew Ashtray had an interesting childhood, something they both related to, and she wanted to give him one she wished she had herself.

One of the reasons she had registered him in school. Even if that didn't last long.

Fezco placed his hands on her hips, causing her to look up at him,
"That's crazy, it's only been a week." He said, "Feels like it's been longer."

"Yea, it does." said Reina, she looked into Fezco's eyes.

Something about them always brought her comfort.

She stared deep into them as he stared deep into hers. Fezco had moved his hands to her thighs, gripping them.

She watched as he glanced at her lips before looking back up to her. She did the same.

Without knowing, they had both leaned in ever so slightly.

Before they connected, Fezco had backed up after hearing Ashtray's door open.

Reina's pov

"When did you get here, Reina?" asked Ashtray as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes.
"Oh like, 10 minutes ago?" He looked like he was examining me. "Fezco thought you dipped."

"What?" Questioned Ash.
"Yo ass wasn't answering me so i thought you left." Fezco said, shrugging his shoulders.

"Then, I found you in your room sleeping." I said, smiling at both boys.
"So you were the one who tucked me in."
"Yea, sorry." I said.

"It's ok, thanks." he said, showing a small smile.

Ashtray slowly backed out of the kitchen.
"Well, since we know he's ok. I'm gonna get going." I said, jumping off of the counter.

"You sure?" Asked Fezco.
"Yea, i'll be by in the morning."

I walked to the front door, but realized I'd left my keys on the table, i walked back towards the kitchen but stopped when i heard a phone ring.
