Recap
Reina stopped everything, she slowly turned around to look at him.
"You've never....have you never tasted them together?" She asked quietly, slightly surprised
He shook his head.
"Me and Fez ain't the type to spend too much time in the kitchen." said Ashtray, Reina slowly nodded, knowing what he was saying was true.

Song: "Clouded." By Brent Faiyaz.
As Reina cooked, her mind drifted to Ashtray and soon to Fezco.
She began imagining what it would be like if they got together, lived together, had a future together, maybe even a family.
"Reina!"
She snapped out of her thoughts, hearing the smoke alarm and yelling.
"There's smoke!" he said, rushing towards Reina.
He quickly turned the stove off and pushed the pan off of the burner, burning his hand in the process.
"Ah, fuck!" he hissed, holding his hand.
Reina quickly rushed to him, taking him to the bathroom and grabbing the first aid kit.
Reina had him sit on the sink so she could see better and examine his hand.
She grabbed the burn cream and some bandage wrap.
"You need to be more careful." I said as I applied the cream, he flinched at the cold temperature of it.
"Yea, says the one who almost burned the house down." he said, rolling his eyes before watching me wrap his hand.
"Well what you said caught me off guard?" I shrugged. "I didn't think I would ever come to mind when it came to a topic like that."
"Why not?" he questioned.
"Well i thought you only saw me as your neighbor or a girl your brother knows. Like Rue, but less than that."
"There's a difference between you two, Rue comes around when she needs drugs. And you, you've been more then a sister to me then Rue in the past two weeks. A mother even." Reina's breath hitched at his comparison.
Ashtray paused, looking down at his now wrapped hand. "Rue would never do this typa shit for me and Fez. Yea she cares, but not like this." He said as he waved his wrapped hand in my face.
I smiled at him as I put everything away, and walked back into the kitchen, Ashtray behind me.
I didn't know how to respond to what he said, so I just nodded and laughed at his words. It made me happy, and it felt especially special since it was Ashtray saying it.
I served Ashtray a bowl of soup before putting a plate of 4 grilled cheese's down. I watched as Ashtray's eyes widened at the sight of all the food, as he reached to grab a piece of the sandwich I slapped his hand lightly. Causing him to look away.
"What the hell?" he asked.
"Go wash your hand." I said, he huffed and got up and walked to the sink.
"I can't, ones wrapped."
"That's why I said HAND, not hands."
I heard the water run as I laced my fingers together, closing my eyes and saying a short prayer.
I felt water splashed on my face, making me open my eyes slightly. I looked as Ashtray was standing in front of me, staring at me.
"The fuck you doin"? He questioned, sitting back down at the head of the table. I put my Index finger up, signaling to give me a second.
When i was done, i quickly made a cross motion with my hand,
"Amen." I sighed.
