Beth and Rory were the first ones up. They sat in the living room "it was nice to see Regulus again" Beth said "I haven't seen him in like a year"
"Yeah he loves our family" she said trying not to fall back asleep
Beth frowned "well he didn't get lucky in the family department. We should invite him for dinner"
"But then Sirius will come and he'll invite James and he'll invite Remus. Too too many"
Natasha finally came down with Jo and Marlene "merry Christmas!" Natasha hugged all her siblings "where's mum ?"
"Said she's sending a letter to father" Beth said knitting "can we open presents now ?"
"I'm not gonna object" Rory said running to her pile of presents.
Rory gasped looking at the canvas and paint brushes in front of her "oh she's good!"
Natasha opened to see her favourite book she had been asking for months. Natasha smirked picking it up
Marlene rested her head on her twins shoulder "oh how cute"

When Marmee finally came home all of the girls sat at the dinner table. After dinner Marmee lifted a letter "look what I got"
"Father sent a letter ?" Beth said standing up. Everyone gathered as Marmee read the letter
To my dearest children, I miss you all daily. I never thought I would miss Natasha's nagging 24/7. Every time I close my eyes my thoughts are with every single one of you. I promise you I will be home soon for Meg's wedding. I am enjoying your letters to me and telling me about your lives.
I love you my girls. Sincerely father.
Rory smiled "how lovely".

Beth was sitting with Natasha when Nat sat up "Beth you feel awfully warm" she touched her sisters head again "mum!"
Beth got put to bed rest by the doctor. He came out of her bedroom "Scarlett fever. Have you all had it before ?" All of the girls nodded "she will need care"
Natasha shook her head "then we'll nurse her until she gets better"

The last week was hard, Beth was not getting any better. The girls all took their shifts of looking after her. The news papers weren't making anyone feel better.

Natasha shut the newsletter "that is complete rubbish" she handed the letter back to Jo "that Reeta Skeeta woman really needs a punch in the face. Dumbledore is the best of the best, even Voldemort is scared of him why do you think he stays away from Hogwarts ?"
"Thank you!" Jo seemed relieved "no one will listen to me, he's ridiculous" they both sat down on the sofa.
Meg walked in "hey" she sat opposite the girls "before you say no hear me out. There's a New Year's party tonight"

"You didn't let me finish! God you two are so stubborn" Meg crossed her arms "I was saying Natasha Marlene and Rory should go!"
"Why me ?" Nat looked at her
"Because it's weird if we go. We're adults now we can't party with teenagers" Meg stood up "this is the last time you'll get to have a proper party and then school. Rory and Marlene have already agreed."
"I hate you".

Rory linked Marlene and Natasha's arm. They walked in and Ted Tonks already took Natasha away
"Tosh!" He put his arm around her "what happened to you and me meeting in the library every Saturday"
"Sorry I've been busy"
"With who ?" Ted raised his eyebrows
"No one" James potter. She smiled "just busy with work. How's you and Andromeda"
"Sh keep your voice down" he said silencing her "we're good. If any of her family know we're toast I mean look what they done to Sirius"
"What did they do to Sirius ?"
"Did you not hear" His face was pale "he got kicked out, he's living with James"
Natasha's heart ached for Sirius. He was the opposite of any wicked person she had met. She nodded trying not to think too much on it.
"So what's this I hear of you and Micheal ?"
Nat blushed "nothing"
"Well he's staring at you doll" Ted looked over her shoulder "go on talk to him".
Rory met the boys outside "Regulus" she hugged him tightly. She looked at Sirius and James "you alright ? I think Remus and Nat are inside" she walked next to James "what's this thing you have with my sister ?"
"Nothing"
She chuckled "right right"
"Im serious!" James demanded "I'm interested in someone else"
"Sure you are" she patted his shoulder
"And what you like Regulus" James blurted "I see the way you look at him"
"Shut it" she opened the door. James looked in the house to see Micheal Knott and Natasha kissing. He turned cold
Rory saw the boys face drop. She looked back at her sister who was giggling with Micheal. She patted James's shoulder again "let's get you a drink"
