A couple weeks went by and Regulus and Rory didn't even mutter a word to one another. Rory didn't know why, she expected he was busy.
She saw Regulus in the dinner hall at night. She walked over and sat down "so Professor Montgomery is thinking of teaching us the three unforgivable curses" she said in a funny accent
Regulus kept his head down. She carried on speaking "there easy to learn anyways. Not like we'll ever cast them" she giggled. Regulus still didn't speak "are you alright ?" Nothing "did I do something ?"
Evan Rosier came into the hall. He put his hands on her shoulders "wanna get to class ?"
"Yeah" she was still looking at Regulus weirdly. She stood up and walked off with Evan.

Professor Montgomery's lesson finished "Miss McKinnon can you stay behind ?"
She waited for everyone to leave. She sat opposite Montgomery "I wanted to see how you are ?"
"I'm fine"
He tilted his head "I've been speaking to Jo she told me about Beth" he looked guilty "I'm sorry"
Rory looked at the floor "don't need to be sorry. You can't do anything. None of us can" she mumbled
"So Meg's getting married ?"
Rory nodded "yep. She's getting married in the summer" she sighed "is this all you wanna talk about ?"
"I just wanna make sure you're alright. You're a good student and I'm concerned for you" he leaned over the desk "I'm always here alright ?"
"Thanks"
"What about Jo she seeing anyone ?" Montgomery put his feet up
Rory smirked "no. Why interested"
"What? No" he started going red
Rory stood up "alright Professor I'll see you later" she giggled walking out.

Natasha sat in the common room with a notepad and pen. James potter walking in "are you always writing ?" She just flipped him off "come out with me. You have no fun in you're life"
"No"
"Please!" He begged "I need to go out"
"Ask Sirius or Peter I'm sure they'd love to" Natasha was still writing
James laid down in her lap "they won't go. Come on Nat please" he grabbed her pen
"Oi"
He stood up "come out with me for an hour that's all. Just a walk".

They walked around Hogsemede. James nicked a cowboy hat "that is the most pathetic looking thing" Nat giggled as James put it on her
She attempted to take it off but James stole it again. She tried to grab it but he kept on moving. Eventually he linked her arm.
"How comes you wanted to go on a walk ?" She asked as they slowly walked
"Everything was stressing me out" he admitted "had to get away for a sec"
She nodded "understandable. Why didn't Sirius help you then ?"
"I never asked him actually" he giggled "I wanted you to come"
She shoved him "why did you say that then ?"
"Because you wouldn't have come with me" he shrugged "besides you looked like you needed cheering up. How comes Micheal didn't come to your rescue"
"I'm not sure I'm going to continue things with Micheal" Nat said "he's almost perfect and I'm not so it's a not good combination. And I can't stand the weird looks I've been getting"
"By who"
"Everyone. They look at me and Micheal like 'why's he going out with blood sucker' it's ridiculous"
"Why do they call you that" He asked
Nat looked at him "promise not to laugh ?"
"I swear on my heart"
"This boy Tommy Rinker who was in hufflepuff liked me in third year and he tried to kiss me and I said no" she explained "so he then went on to tell everyone that we kissed and then I bit him. And kids being kids made more rumours"
"That's horrible" James paused "what and you let him get away with it ?"
"No obviously not who do you think I am ? I punched him in the face. He broke his nose" she said making James laugh "he has a wonky nose now"
"Good" James saw Natasha getting cold "here" he grabbed his hoodie out of his jacket. He passed her it
"Thanks" it was a quidditch hoodie. When she looked at it on her the arms were handing off her hands "why are your arms so freakishly long"
"Wha- their not" he sighed "roll the sleeves up you fool" he grabbed her arms as she laughed at him. He rolled down her sleeves down
She stared at him while he was doing it. When she snapped out of it she smiled "I think we should get going back. It's getting dark"
"Right" he kept eye contact.

Rory waited for Regulus's potions lesson to finish. She stood outside.
Regulus started walking out but she grabbed his arm "hey what's your problem ?"
"Nothing" he walked away
She followed after him "but why are you being weird then ? You've ignored me for weeks. What have I done ? Regulus can you answer me"
"Nothing" he snapped turning to her "chill out"
"I'm not going to chill out. You've ignored me"
"No I haven't" he got closer to her "you've been ignoring me you've been with him"
"Him ?" She became annoyed "who are you talking about ?"
"Evan. All you've done is hang out with Evan. You don't even realise how thick he is with you. He flirts and you act like it's normal"
"But I don't understand your problem with that is ?" Rory took a step back "you're my friend Reg not anything else"
"Yeah I know" he nodded "you've made it clear" he turned and walked away.
Richard Carter put his arm over her "you alright ?" He said pulling Rory into a hug "he's just being silly".
