Rory ignored Regulus for weeks and weeks. She ignored him the whole of seventh year. He knew she saw his mark and was told to leave it by the boys.
It came to Rory leaving Hogwarts and joining the order. She was one of the most hard working people there.
Natasha was sitting on the sofa reading a book when James Sirius and Peter tried to sneak past her "what are you doing ?" She said not even looking up
Peter sighed "you weren't supposed to see us"
"You're all extremely loud" Nat shut her book "what are you doing ?"
Sirius turned "sneaking out" Sirius stated "you and James are getting married in 3 months. We might as well have him while we can"
"You're acting like I'm going to kidnap him. I'm not evil he can still go outside when we're married" she stood up "go have fun"
James smiled turning to the boys "told you it would be fine. She's the best girlfriend in the world"
"Alright don't rub it in" Peter said in jealousy.

Ray and Sophie came around as they were the main bridesmaids. They sat in the kitchen "so" Ray said pouring herself a drink "how's Rory ?" They knew all of the gossip
"Yeah she must be heartbroken bless her" Sophie frowned "has she spoken to Regulus ?"
Nat shook her head "not one single bit. I mean she's always been against Voldemort why should she tolerate it because of her boyfriend"
"Well I think she's being very smart" Ray sat down "boys aren't worth it. She's a pretty girl she'll find a handsome man"
"Talking of a man. Did I see Professor Montgomery come out of your sisters room earlier" Sophie beamed
Nat chuckled "shhh. We're not meant to say anything. He's her date at the wedding" all of the girls squealed "me and Rory are ecstatic"

Rory was painting in her room, Marlene entered "you got back into art ?"
Rory nodded "felt like I needed something to do with myself"
Marlene sat on her bed "I can't believe James and Nat are getting married"
Rory agreed "it's scary times. I think lots of people are getting married because we don't know what happens next" she looked up at Marlene "do you think you and Dorcas would ever get married ?"
Marlene laid back "I'm not sure. Hard question" she looked at Rory's drawing "who's that" there was a girl with ginger hair
"Me. In twenty years" she said
"Why are you ginger ?"
"Because I want to dye my hair when I get older" she looked at the painting "going strawberry blonde is my plan"
Marlene agreed "I like it. You'd suit it" she realised "what like Beth's hair ?"
"Exactly like Beth's hair. Beth always wanted me to do it" Rory had such sadness in the way she spoke about Beth "might as well"
